Hey I was wondering how my roots look and if I did the right thing by transferring them to slightly larger pots. Are the fine white hairs ok? They would be brown if they had root rot right? The growth has been slow the past few days compared to the first few weeks. The pots they started in were about 2.5 wide, 1.5 high, and just put them in to 2.5 wide by 3 inch high pots. Here's the pic of the roots - scroll to the bottom - http://www.geocities.com/marcnh//mj.html I'm quite sure they are doing fine, and I'm not paranoid, just checking up! Thanks again...

The roots look good and healthy, although not rootbound in the cup. It's ok to transplant just watch your watering. Generally when the MG Moisture Control mix dries on the surface it is safe to water to run off. Then just wait for the mix to dry again. They will grow very well using this tactic.

RE- LAAAAAAAAXXXXXX! Those things aren't old enough to worry about yet. I'm no expert but I would make sure they are not stretching for light, and I would let em dry out a bit. If they get really dry for 12 hrs it wont kill em. Those leaves are only for when they first sprout. I forgot what the correct term is, but they are going to die anyway. The ones that look like a pot leaf is the ones you need to worry about.

I didn't read the whole post so if I'm stepping on toes I'm sorry. Not disrespecting. If I'm wrong lemme know!

research some good soil mixes in this forum and put one to use when you transplant. fire miricle grow! with good soil its hard to hurt cannabis. trial and error have been my best teacher. keep posting and there will be people here to help. the growers we have the stronger we are. oh, and take the manufacturers directions with a grain of salt. remember that these nutrient manufacturers want you to buy more of thier product. you can get better buds with less nutes.
