From the characteristics your looking for in the final product, my choice would be Super Lemon Haze from Greenhouse 🔥🔥
But as thats not on the list I'd probably go Sage n Sour, if I had to pick one of those. And Jack from Sensi if you dont mind a little longer flowering time.
Coincidently, I was thinking recently that (SLH x Sage 'n Sour) might be a nice little project..

I did the DP Durban Poison a while back. Did have one hermie on me the other grew fine and was actually a nice daytime smoke.

If you want proven hunger busting strains why not try THCV?

Dutch Passion have THC Victory and Elite seeds have Novarine. Seedsman might have one also ...

12 out of 12 have popped up now :)
2 of them are still wearing hats though and they are on tight!
Should I try to remove them or will they come off naturally?

Give them a little spray if they're stubborn helmets

Yeah, thanks for the replies.
I did that yesterday but the little helmets are tight. I really can't see how they will shake them. I tried to get them off gently but decided it would do more harm than good so left them to their own devices.
Will check again when I get home from work in about 10 hours

don´t touch them. I did that once and it went badly. Just let nature do what it does :)

Thanks for the advice guys :good:
All but one has shaken the helmet free now but she looks to be determined
Here's some updated pics and I'll let them get a bit more mature before leaving another post
Thanks for the help folks

Day 17

So far so good. They seem like fine seeds. Nice voting folks :headbange
I'm diggin these 2L pots for starting seeds in. I can take the desired males and the seed female to maturity in them without re-potting and they don't dry out too fast

Day 24

The leaves are a little wrinkly. If anyone knows why I would appreciate some guidance
Apart from that they seem to be growing well and I will add more medium to the pots later today
I don't want to re-pot until I know which ones will be kept
Any advice on which male/s to keep for pollen usage and banking is also appreciated. I will probably fertilize one female for seed early
I was thinking I will get them as big as possible in these 2L pots then turn them so they show sex before selection and re-potting. What do you guys think??

They seem pretty healthy apart from the wrinkles. My guess is that it's just a change in something (heat? soil moisture?) when that part of the leaf grew. Growing pains... Unless someone has another idea?

Hard to say what the best male is before his children grow up but obviously the usual things like plant vigor/health and smell are worth paying attention to. For the smell, rubbing the stem is a good technique but the stinkiest ones won't even need it. If you have a big plant with a lot of leaves you can do some cooking with them to evaluate the high/potency. Or some people use a vaporizer I have heard. After a tolerance break you can even smoke some leaves to get an idea but that will be rough on the lungs unless you've already narrowed it down to just a couple of plants. And of course the more familiar you get with a variety the easier it becomes to identify plants from the phenotype with the traits you are looking for.

Your up-potting plan sounds solid to me.

Seed to Day 34
12/12 Day 3

Moved them to a 1200x1200 tent
I switched the light cycle because I have over 80 different strains to grow out and the SOG seems quite rewarding.
Will be mainly collecting pollen and seeds this round and testing smoke quality and may look back when the results are in and have another grow
I have purchased a bunch of real gems I want to grow so I need to keep my grow cycles as short as possible
They have the wrinkles and some leaf discoloration but seem to be growing ok. I may have overwatered at some point I'm not really sure but some of my other grows are exhibiting similar characteristics

I have had a few problems with the grow due to my inexperience with organic growing I think. I wasn't really training for bulk but more wanted to see how these grow untouched
I have collected some pollen and culled the males
Anyway, there should still be some tasty buds but the top leaves are curling due to what I assume is a nutrient imbalance. If you can identify it please enlighten me. There were also some medium size brown spots on a couple of the early leaves at the bottom
I will move the plants to the larger space at some point to finish since this light is new and not proven yet and I need the scrog setup for another grow
I will add another update closer to maturity
Thanks for looking in

I let the team down a bit with this grow. It was fun with the voting and the commentary around people's choices :)
I'm trying to learn to organic grow and it seems not all strains like/can handle the same soil conditions
So I chopped today, which is early, I know about 62 days , but the spots on the leaves were spreading and I figured 3 or 4 ozs of early bud is better than a bunch of dead on the plant bud :p
There are some nice main colas and I might come back with some natural light dry bud pics and a smoke report
