Light is too close. That is heat stress.

Your thermometer only tells part of the story. Radiant heat from the bulb builds up in leaf surfaces and causes curl and burning and the thermometer doesn't record this.

It's kind of like when you feel the heat of the sun through a window even though the window is cool to the touch.

Nice photoshopping, btw. It really heps us help you!

Nice analogy-HeadyP

Great report- SmokerJ - Aero is a touchy biatch, and i agree w/ HeadyP that though temps seem perfect the light might be a tad too close. If you place your hand on top of canopy you shouldn't feel a burn or heating.

Do you have a good fan blowing on the plants? This can help cool leaf surfaces.

Is this happening all around or directly under the light? There are hot spots beneath bulbs that are the most intense area of light. The better hoods help disperse this more evenly, but there will still be a hot spot.

You can tie down the highest branches to get them away from the light, if necessary. Do this when they need watering, the plant is most pliable then and you have less chance of breaking a branch. If you break one, splint it back up with tape or gauze or whatever, and as long as that wound is closed (and not straight through), it will heal and be good as new.

Thanks word.

I have a 12" Air King, oscillating fan that runs 24/7 and it hits every square inch of canopy. I can try tying it down... check out my pics and let me know if you think i should tie it down...

Any Idea on ho much i will yield?? anybody? Pictures were taken today, 24 days into flower. This is an 8 week strain of blueberry/apollo11.
