hello again folks, my plant has grown a bit since the last time ive asked for your help, perhaps now and experienced grower can identify sex of this plant, to me I still cant tell really, there are pod looking things, but they are not pods, but baby leaves curled up, so what you may see as early signs of pods -are not, at this point

here have a look for yourself, and see if you see any other indications of sex, thank you so much for your help y-all.....axle

Female flowers have a hair coming out of the ball.

You guys have better eyes than me. You have time. Another week and you'll know for sure. No rush. They won't throw pollen for a while yet.

thank you guys, damn its the only one I got,
im terrible with seeds, have the worse luck
this is from my second purchase of seeds for this strain, from a second source (Italy)
out of 10 seeds, several sprout, only 1 survived -this one

I do have 8 seed I was holding back, now im gonna burn through them too....in pursuit of a female.....jesus just 1 female....please....lol

I have better luck cloning.....I might clone this male-just to keep him around
same thing happened last year on my Lebanese attempt, got 1 male..
what I did with it was make my 1st hybrid...cherry bomb female X red leb male
I could back cross another red leb male into a hybrid female (if I get one)....and put the pair of them on a secondary site like I did last year (outdoor in the country)

that would make an interesting F2s
(cherry bomb X red leb) X red leb=F2s

well thank you guys.....those that called it a male -you won the vote
yup...its definitely male, I can see the pods developing now -too bad

the plant is very tall now, and bright red stems on the sugar leaves
it would have been such a beautiful plant if it were female

unfortunately this one has to be destroyed....
I don't really have a purpose for it at this time, if it were spring I would pop it outside with a female plant to make seed.....but I did that last year with a red leb male
so I don't even have to go that route....I have no use for it really

wanted to say thank you all for your input
I appreciate it, really I do

My only thought is, rub the stem and really sniff at it. It's almost certainly a run-of-the-mill male, not worth keeping, doesn't look like anything special. But if it was some tantalizing odor, something unique, it might be worth cloning and letting it flower a bit more. To see if the form or flowers or smell is something special. The right thing to do 99 times out of a 100 is to wack it but I always inspect my males closely. A good male is rarer and much harder to identify then a good female. That said it doesn't look special to me. Fine for breeding to preserve a strain or make more seeds but not a keeper.

If I 've just got an erection looking at your plant ... is that a sign it's male?
