Their back... those little bastards...

we had em last grow. after cleaning up last time, we bombed the room 3 times within 10days, then we sprayed domant oil on the floor, lower walls, put the ladies in, 10days ago, and yesterday saw a couple of yellowing leafs on a couple of the kushes (mites luv sd kush), clipped em, checked em under a microscope , and saw em walking.. those bastards...

we took each plant into the shower and gave em a good cleaning... thereafter put a nice 'dab' of petro jelly on the stem..

question should we start the regimet of safer soap alternating with ,neem oil and tobacco(with some hot pepper sauce), or should we just get some predator mites...

HELP.....

A no pest strip will work, but thats some pretty deadly stuff, and you don't want to spend too much time in the room with one.Tell you what my friend uses, 5ml/l cold pressed neem+5ml/l safers end all number 1 +5ml/l dutchmaster penetrator all in one mix, you wouldn't believe how effective this is-you can treat at end of veg (dipping veglings works the best) and carry through the whole cycle without seeing them again. These little bastards used to cause my friend no end of grief, and now has 100% mite free harvests. If plants are heavially infested (add a bit more endall, but no more than 10ml/l) 2-3 applications spaced say 3-7 days apart, depending on temperature (warmer shorter interval) will wipe them out and if there are any at harvest time they are very few ,generally slow moving and sickly looking. My friend sprays this during the lights out cycle to allow them to dry completely before the lights come back on otherwise it can burn the leaves a bit. Also works well for thrips. You have to use what you mix up right away though as the compoenents seem to sepperate after a bit.

thanks... we ordered a bottle of the dutchmaster penetrator today... we also ordered 2000 predatory mites (2 types)... we will use the mites first, and then tobe safe will spray with neem/safers/tobacco-hot pepper...

Honestly, skip the predators they take too long to gain an upper hand...not to mention with that appocolypse spray they'd just die anyway. Also most places that sell predators don't mention that they go dormant on a 12 hr light cycle.

A note about adding penetrator to your spray if you add it something you use already you have to reduce the amount you use or you can damage the leaves. For instance the bottle of endall says to mix 20ml/l but my friend uses 5ml/l in the penetrator mix.Just mentioning this 'cause my friend has never used it with a tobacco spray before, should work but my friend wouldn't want to see you damage your plants (if thats possible with tobacco, my friend doesn't know) Even the bottle of Penetrator says mix in 60ml/l- OMG :yoinks: would never mix that much, maybe by itself you can use that much but not when you mix it together with some products.

I have just got rid off a major spider mite infection - i used liquid brown soap, that I mix with very littel water- then with the fingers make alot off foam - and smear that on to the plant and cover it all up in foam- untill it looks like a wet dog. And let it dry in. I did this 3 times with 2 days in between.

thanks... i already ordered the predator mites, so since we are in veg for another 3-4 weeks, we are going to use the predators, bump up the humidty (like the jungle in nam), and then at the start of 12/12, when the mites go dormant (another thanks, i did not know they go dormant), we will drop the humidty and start our spraying program for the 1st 2-3 weeks into 12/12..

and then keep our fingers crossed.. :joint: :joint:
