Hey eveyone, so I am somewhat of a novice here, and I am somewhat of a novice to growing in general so everyone's suggestions are valuable to me. Here is what I'm running:

600w for veg, 1000w for flower
strains right now are Rez's Chemdog Double-D, DSD, Miss. Mud from JLP, and some Mango (KC33 x Afghani)

My formula is Foxfarm Ocean Forest, PB, Sweetleaf, Beastie Blooms, Liquid Karma, and maybe a micronutrient like floralicious when needed.

My DSD's and CDD's are finishing up and are at about 63 days into flower. I know I didn't give them a long enough veg (only about 2 weeks) and they are now in 3gal buckets when I know they should be in 5 or 7gal buckets. My keeper Chemdog double-d pheno is really pretty tall, but the top is still probably only about 6-7grams. I'm thinking of using my 3gal buckets for veg from now on, letting them get a good 30 days (at least) of veg, and then using 5-7gal buckets for flower.

I am also thinking of experimenting with supercropping since I have a nice sized room with a tall ceiling, but i'm really scared to just bend the branch so forcefully. Also, how much extra time will they need if I supercrop them? Any help/advice would be appreciated

Some will tell you different, but this is the only way I will do it. Transplanting stresses the roots, and we all know stress can cause males. So I start in peat pellets, then after a week or so I cut the netting off and put them in 5 gal pots in which they will stay there whole life. I normally get about 4/5 females every time, with non-feminised seeds.

1st of all, if you want to increase your yield you need some experience.
About buckets, i would use something like 1 gal for vegg and then move them to bigger pots.
I think that 600W its too big bulb to feed a 1 kw hps. Im using 250w hps to vegg small clones, for 15 days, then i move to beds at the 1 kw, 7-12 days vegg and pop them to 12/12. this is just me. You dont need to vegg too long if u use 25 plants sog style in that grow.
About supercropping, it is a good technique, but after each pruning, you have to wait till the new shoots come out strong, and that takes time. It gets me sick waiting ladies to get bigger to switch em to 12/12, not anymore. but thats just me
Hope it helps-

If you do it carefully, roots wont brake. and i have never seen hermies or causing males due to transplanting?

I like to start off in smaller pots and work my way up. Normally one or two transplants per life cycle. I figure, you get some nice well established roots in a smaller pot. When you toss that whole root ball into a new pot, your girl is gonna love the new soil and shoot up again. I transplant halfway through veg and at the beginning of flowering. Helps to keep the roots somewhat contained as well for those of us with smaller spaces to work.

I can normally get the whole root mass out without a problem. I don't think I'm causing much stress at all doing it like that. You just gotta be gentle.

A proper DIF(difference in day and night temps) Humidity and circulation will get you a higher yield faster than anything else you can throw at your plants
