Welcome bro. I was in Thailand once. Traveling around a bit. The nature in your country was great. I remember driving with the bus through Khao Sok National Park. Unfortunately I was not able to bring seeds. I am quite curious how the growing scene will change in Thailand.

Nice to see you here. I will be in Thailand again (after almost 50 years) early next year. Looking forward to have some good food and possibly see places I have lived in back in the 1970's. Some of them are still there. And I am a huge fan of Thai food, cook and eat it here all the time, too. Sure beats burgers and European food :)

Have a good trip. Have you already planned where you're going? My friend (not a smoker) was there many times. He told me western Hippies smoke weed in "Reggae Bars" in Ko Lanta and nobody cares. Thai food is great. I love it too. Fortunately there is much good Thai-Food in our country but still its different in Thailand. Are you trying to bring some seeds back?

Yeah. A few days of Bkk, then up to Chiang Mai. Will stay up there for the rest of the trip with excursions to Chiang Rai and other surroundings.

Well, I will check that. Will see. The only seeds that would be interesting for me would be real landraces. Not interested in all the crosses, hybrids or Cali stuff. We can get that here.

I am living in Samut Sakhon, about 30 minutes outside of Bangkok.. We are a small 2000sqm indoor grow facility. And people smoke almost everywhere since it has been legalized.

Its good you didn't let it get you down!
NEVER. Since the first time I smoked at 13 years old I wanted to be involved with this wonderful plant in some way..... I've chased that dream ever since then, through great times and incredibly horrible times. I lost everything I had, family, house, freedom, banned from the USA for life, 2 million dollar fine(hahaha)...I'm 52 now and finally have realized my dream, LEGALLY!

Absolutely. I think there's a good chance of finding something special in this area.
There are also good companies that sell landraces from areas where we would never go. But I think it's something special when you get one yourself somewhere. You know where they grow, the soil, the climate, the people who grow them. You have experienced the region yourself.

Chiang rai is just a short (in distance, but long in time, slow boat is about 2 days) trip from Luangprabang in Laos. I sincerely recommend it, its defo worth the trip ;)
