In DK the big difference is whether it is for personal use or sale. And whether you have previous convictions or not.
With no previous convictions and only intended for personal use there is no jail time.

sadly that is wrong, me and a friend got busted with 20 plants for our own use, and i got 20 days jailtime, i have never been convicted before

Again, crazy!^^ Never heard of jailtime for 20 plants. But it differs from judge to judge. Were you growing in a appartment or someplace where the lamps could pose a firehazard to other residents? Just curious, it's good info to have, if you don't mind me asking.

Der har jo været talt om hårdere straffe overfor brugere, det ser ud til at være i fuld effekt. Min ven blev taget for lidt siden, med få udendørs planter, max 10, og han står til 3-4 mdr. Nok også pga han er blevet taget (stukket) før for at dyrke lidt pot i haven, men det er stadig latterlige straffe. Free the weed!
