Gotta stick up for my homie Jdog, not trying to further any kind of argument 20kw, just settin shit straight.

This was posted by grat3fulh3ad in another thread.

"Ca is an immobile element and will show up on new growth as Light green color or uneven chlorosis of young leaves; or margins of young leaves fail to form (strap-leaves); or growing points of stems and roots cease to develop (blunt end)
Mg is a mobile element, like N P or K and will show up in the older leaves first."

Therefore, Jdog is right saying that a calcium deficiency could be mistaken for a nitrogen deficiency.

No worries man 20k, I knew it was a nitrogen deficiency, but there were also some other problems that could've been huge down the road. I can guarantee using EJ the whole grow with no lime in the soil or any kind of PH buffer would be a disaster. I'm pretty sure that shit dropped my PH to 3.5 or somethin crazy. Thats starting from around 6ph RO water, but still.

She was using FFOF straight out of the bag, no probs, which has oyster shell, and we were using tap which was most likely alkaline.

And I'm sick of hearing about the damn K/Ca/Mg relationship. Damn people around here think they are God damn botanists! That is SO not cannabis specific, and is realistically only a problem for us when using coco with non-coco nutrients.

lockout = high EC. You wil only get a lockout if you have very young plants, have a serious pH prob, or are feeding your plants WAY too much.

Use the grow dude. You have the simplest and most common deficiency out there, but everybody thinks they need to have an answer to your problem that makes it sound like they know what they are talking about.

Sorry everybody...it's just one of those things that urks me good:bat:

Your garden looks mighty mighty fine there 20k....MIGHTY FINE..lol.
