Heat Tolerant strains

I was walking along the fire trail one day, all camo'd up going to check on one of my spots.

I saw two guys walking ahead of me, I thought they don't look like hikers, they look like stoners.

Anyway they suddenly stepped off the trail into the bush, so I remembered the spot and next time I came past there I went in to have a look.

Took me a few minutes to find the plants, there were 12 of them.

They were actually partly shaded by a tree, so they were getting dappled light.

I used to have a look at them sometimes as I went past that way, and sometimes in the middle of the day, all the leaves would be wilted and hanging down, and you would think they were done for.
But the next time I went past, say early in the morning all the leaves would be standing up straight again.

Mandala claims heat resistance for several varieties. They're pretty straight up about everything else, so I tend to believe them.

Yes it is Dr. S, so what?

Personally I've found mandala satori to be very reailliant to heat.

I used to use silica blast back in the day when botanicare wasnt some subsidary. Now i tend to lean more toward rhizosphere inoculations such as myco products.. azos.. etc..

They work great at helping ANY plant be more drought and heat tolerant.

I used to have flower in an attic that was 50 feet long by 25 feet wide and it would get HOT up there.. ~95-105 degrees Fahrenheit on a daily basis throughout the summer. So long as you have ample water, good air flow and exhaust/intake setup you can pull it off.

As far as strains, ive noticed a lot of kush varieties can be stressed pretty heavily. AS of late i have been doing quite a bit of breeding and my a.j. sour crossed with nirvanas blue mystic does quite well in dry conditions. Meanwhile my pure blueberry hates dry/hot weather. The best one that handles both hot and dry has to be the bubba cheese hybrid i did last summer. Its a bubba kush X cheese and its really a sexy beast.

That's my experience as well. Satori is tough & easy to grow indoors. Even when I was screwing up it did decently. With proper care it's also a good if not great yielder.
