heat stress or a def?

this plant is from bagseed, about 2-3 weeks old. Planted in ff ocean forest with perlite, EWC and dolomite lime. I've only been watering with distilled h2o pH 6.8, last time (2 days ago) added some liquid seaweed to the water thinking it was maybe a K or micro def but continued to get worse. The yellowing is only on the upper leaves, bottom leaves are perfect looking. Watered again today with plain water and realized I should have added some epsom salt because now after looking at some pics I'm thinking that may be the problem... though the lime added to the soil should take care of this right? Could this be from being root-bound?

Looks to me to be a mag def. Either espom salt or my preferred Cal-Mag.

I've always had to add Cal-Mag to my grows otherwise they look like that after a few weeks from clone. Now I just use 5-8ml/gal per feeding and have never seen the problem since.

thanks barnt, any other opinions definitely welcome too!

I sprayed it with some water/epsom salt and didn't seem to do anything. growth is pretty much stunted these last 3 days. I added 2 tbs/gal of dolomite lime to the soil mix, so i dont think she should be showing any ca or mg defs or pH problems right? could my problem be from heat or root-bound?

thanks

You wont see the old leaves that had the problem recover. Look at the new growth. Get som Sensi cal/mg bloom and add it to your nutrients.
