Has taken me quite some time to sex these plants as I failed with my clones earlier. I have new clones under the dome and they don't look too happy either. Anyways, looks like I have 9 females and 3 males

Had to cut these in half as they got tall af. Fresh coco is arriving soon, so in a few days I'll transplant them into bigger pots. Well needed as they dry out too fast now. They are still in these tiny 0,7 liter net pots. This is far from a smooth journey for these plants.

I have had similar "issues " Mine all grew very stretchy and tall so I had to top them . But I've re vegged mine nicely. I had force mine to sex in 12/12 to identify males. Most would not show under 18/6.

Yeah, some legs on on em. I think I'll have a monstrous jungle in there soon. 9 overvegged Headbangers in a 4x4 will be trouble i reckon

Day 10 or something. Already defoliated once heavily and looks like it helped quite a bit to slow down the stretch. Beasty plants.

Beautiful vision, you're doing a great job with this grow. They should keep gaining height until day 25/30 of 12/12, then their flowers will explode. I'm sure you will be able to deal with their stretch without problem, you have made a great canopy so far. Fingers crossed for not too much difference in their finale size. It will be a nice harvest in a few weeks, have you already smoked some Headbanger ?

I'm planning to strip them down pretty hard sometime next week when I get time and I'll have to get another fan setup in there to move things around a bit more.

I have very limited knowledge on seed making. I only made fems a few times and I once ended up with very hard shells. I had to crack almost every other seed from that batch manually. I hope these will not suffer that same problem as there will be very few seeds from these. Not sure what causes it.

Thanks amigo. These small 3,5L pots is what keeps them from hitting the lights I think. Did you use HPS when you were flowering out Headbangers? Got any old pics?

No, I haven't tried any before. Will be a first for me.

I've grown HB from 2014 to 2020 and I was still using HPS at this time, the stretch with LED seems less strong than HPS grows, at least that's how my plants react in my room. I've also noticed the stretch from seedlings is stronger than the one from clones of the same plant.
I have no more access to the pics of my HB grows, I can't turn on anymore the PC where they're stored. There are a few pics of Headbanger in my profile in the media section but they are not very good quality. I can't post those pics since an update of the forum so if you want to see them you have to go look for them sadly.
If you have never smoke HB before you're in for a great surprise when yours will be smokable, it is one of the best cross I've ever grown and smoke. Everything is so pleasing, the taste first very rich and mouth coating and the high so strong and uplifting for some pheno and it lasts for a long time. I fell in love with the Headbanger, it was not a cross I was planning to buy but Karma sent me 30 seeds to replace a pack of Jack O Nesia I bought from the Tude who had terrible germing rate because they were old seeds not well stored. Karma is great dude who really take care of his customers, those 30 HB were a great surprise for me and immediately became most of my production for years, in pure form or cross. I made a cross with a HB female and Colombia Gold male who had the strongest lime smell in veg I've ever smelled, this cross Head-Gold was so good, the CG brought something very mood elevating to the high and added a great lime taste to the terp profile. I lost the seeds when I changed of living place and I was really mad about that.

Do you use silicate product in your grow?

Silicates made seed shells too thick and then seed shells is hard to break.

Definitely sounds good and I hopefully it'll come out good. I just hope nothing molds in this grow. Its so easy it happens when plants are so close together in this tiny space.

I didn't use it when it happened. I was in soil. Could've been already mixed in the soil maybe. But I'll keep silica away from these seeded clones. Thanks for the tip amigo!
Should there be different npk ratios for seeds or just let them eat as usual in flower? Maybe higher nitrogen?

Yes I've made a few crosses with the pollen from 2 Sowahh males:
- Rocky Melon (Bag seed) x Sowahh = Rocky D, I've grown 1 female of this cross in my last run with Sowahh#3, there are some pics in the thread dedicated to Sowahh.

- Black Cherry Punch (In House gen) x Sowahh= Cherry D. I've pollinated the most purple BCP with a grape/berry smell/taste and a lovely high, I have started 4 seeds a few days ago.(Different BCP than the one who auto-pollinated herself and made around 200 seeds)

- Bubble Banana Gum(TH seeds) x S = Bubble D, made 1 female with the Rocky d and last Sowahh#3, the mom only needs 50/55 days to get mature (+/-10/20% amber trichomes) and has very sweet candy taste with a basic hybrid high but the Sowahh pollen bring some power and personality to the high.

- (AK47 x Agent Orange) x Sowahh= Napalm Dew(just a joke, not sure I'll call it this way further) the mother has an impressive resin coating and a great spicy/savory aroma with a fast hitting punch in the brain high.

- New gen of Sowahh with the #3 as mother and the pollen from 3 males, did not make seeds with the other females because I thought the #3 was the most Sour D of the 3 females but I should have made seeds with all the females. Not tried those yet.
I've only made +/- 30 seeds of each Sowahh crosses, sent some to members of this forum not sure they have been grown yet.

Sorry i dont use NPK,i grow organics and feed the soil so i never know what rates of what mineral plant use.

Nice work. Rocky D sounds cool. What did you get from the female you grew? Rocky Dennis is afghani x sour bubble or something if I recall correctly?
Have you tried to self Sowahh? Could be fun to dig through a bunch of S1s

That be a very herm ridden grow. The rez sd ibl was herm city. I fear sowah reversed would be nothing but chicks with dicks galore.

Thinned them out, but not enough it feels like. There will be bunch of small airy stuff in the middle. It's too many plants in there this size. Seems like they stopped stretching now at least. Good end height.

Would S1s not be more stable since it's a bx4? I don't know how it works tho. I'm here to learn.
