Head Seeds G13 Diesel? Good?

I have had outstandingly excellent results with Buddah's Sister. I believe it is a 80/20 indica/sativa cross. Are there any other outstanding strains anibodi knows of with this 80/20 balance. I think it will be better for hasj making than the ~ 60/40 g-13 x diesel. What do you think?

diesel is always great too and being that i am from MA I have found that it outperforms any other strain outdoors in that state.

Yeshijah, that was meant as a joke. I wouldn't recommend Greenhouse either. I do have enough respect for H3ad that I would recommend his gear without even trying it, because I know he would stand behind it and give you tips for growing it.

that's cool... it's all good... I am interrested in heads varieties. I checked out the whole jjscorpio hash and g-13 x diesel link. The hash looks fine yet in my experience of having diesel's and Buddah's sisters next to each other in two different locations the Buddah's sister had better stickier greasier resin even though the diesel was much more hearty vigorous easy to grow and yielded more. they are both very resistent hearty and easy to grow strains yet I believe that the 80/20 indica sativa balance of the Buddah's sister is superior for hasj making. Are there any heads varieties that are 80/20 indica/sativa? They both make great finger hasj too yet the charas from the Buddah's sister is copiously sticky clumps of charas that plop off of your thumb with one rub!

My 5 (i have a list of 20 or more that i would grow this is in no order just 5 good ones that i think might fit your wants)

1. L A Confidential - Nice smoke great high cant go wrong.
2. DJ Shorts F13 or Flo line - You want killer high and bag appeal (Many pheno's lean towards the purple tai = purple buds)
3. G13Diesel - ive seen some grow reports on this man and watch as they toppled over cause the buds were so damn fat... Nice
4. Sweet tooth # 3 - the stuff i had was also purple with a real great high and good yeilds. Out of all the Purple strains this is oen of the best all arounds (still take dj shorts though)
5. DJ short's Old Time Moonshine OTM - Tons of Pheno's with tons of mutants never know what you might get but i ggaruntee youll love it.

I know you want some Cup winners but honeslty you can grow these tree (better IMHO) and call the shit that if it will help you lol.

I am looking forward to planting some unofficial buddah's diesel I made from a chunky buddah's sister that was pollenated by a huge multi-branched diesel mother that I purposely stressed the branch closest to the Buddah so it made some little male stamen in it's flowers yet no actual male flowers at all. The seeds I make in this way are usually all female in the right conditions. Any kind of stress whatsoever and about 50% can turn hermie though on my roof I recieved 16 out of 16 female this way.

Actually... yes, I do have some digital photos of both parents in various stages of growth although I should have taken more shots right at harvest and while they were drying as I was way to busy at the time with another room to think about pics. Maybe I can post pics from 2 weeks after sprout, some from when I switched em to flowering and some at around 7-8 weeks of flowering and then maybe I am going to take some pics of the cured nugs to give you some sense of how much better they got in those last two weeks I have no pics of. Also I can post pics of the bubble and honey oil they made. The only thing is that my camera is in another location where I will be this week, so maybe I can get the pics up by tuesday or wednsday. I also have to admit that my gallery is empty because I have never posted pics on the net before only sent some in e-mails to friends. I am sure I can figure it out. I would like to let you see those parents and see what your input is. My digital camera does not do the plants justice at all yet I know I have a few shots with some good trichomes in focus so that you can zoom in on them and really see the bud structure and trichomes coating the leaves. What I was really trying to capture in my pics was the actual bud/plant structure and leaf pattern for my own breeding purposes alas I found it a challenge to fit the entire plant in the pic. If I captured the top cola then the bottom branches were left out and if I captured the bottom branches it cut off the top cola so then when I tried to get as much of the plant as possible it was kind of too far back to zoom in on trichomes. Anyway... sorry for ranting. I am sure you will at least find the pictures interresting and I am happy to have a reason to post them. Look for them in this thread on Wed 4/11/07. I will do my best to get em up by then but spring is a crucial time and I have to make that my priority. Can I PM if I have any questions about posting them to the thread? The Diesel is a very big multi-branched quintessential diesel pheno with that classic grapefruit diesel smell and the buddahs sister was a real perfect one main cola medium-short stocky build quintessential buddah's siter fan leaves and spicy/peppery perfumey sticky/greasy buds that were big and round like pool balls all close to the main stalk except for some nice longer lower branches that made their own colas. It was almost like a bush with a nice long main cola coming out of the top. It was lime to dark green hues with super bright resin and orangey hairs. It is funny too because I had two other buddah's sister plants from clones that I bought from soma that were much more multi-branched with even greasier spicier resin. Also I never super cropped the Buddah's sister because it was short enough already while the diesel had to have it's branches continually super cropped and bent in half and even folded over twice in some places to keep it from growing too tall. The diesel had quintessential diesel buds that make bracht on top of bracht growing in stacks of calyxes as it keeps maturing and maturing and maturing on and on it keeps putting out new white hairs from the tops of these stacks even as the rest of the hairs on that bud are already red. I think the best pic for you to see is one with the buddah's sister in the foreground and the diesel in the background. When I post these pics you are also going to see a somativa and a Somaskunk that was from my ex-girlfriends seed stock from 2000. Anyway, no more talk untill I post em. I am happy that I remembered that I saved some pics onto a cd. YOU should definitely check back on wed when I will have all the cured nug and hash pics up plus the later developments. At least in this first pic I uploaded you can begin to see the strain characteristics in the fan leaves it is approx. 2-2.5 weeks into flowering, maybe a bit less. The diesel is back right and the buddah's sis is front right. enjoy-

oh and the little 2 week old front left is a somaskunk from my friend Solere from 2000 and the back left is possibly a somativa cross with orange bud or something like that. you will have to see the pics of the back left one when it finished it was taller than all the others even though it started out shorter and it also had the biggest main cola, completely sativa dominant. The mature pics of the somaskunk show the leaves coated with resin as well as a perfect structure and skunkiness. soon come....
