Only had one female from the first 5 seeds, but she's a keeper! I'll try to post more on her once I harvest, etc. I did manage to keep a cutting of this one also - and I've still got more seeds.
Wow, thanks for the comments everyone. A special thanks to the H3ads!
I'll post a smoke report after I have the info. I have to say, the Casey looks a lot like a diesel pheno of Wonder Diesel I have growing, but she has her own unique smell.
This plant is finishing so incredibly, that I'm thinking of modifying my next planned grow to add some cuttings from this beauty. If so, I'll post a grow report on the Head Seeds forum.
Wish I'd done the plant better Ms.Gr3atful (thanks for the compliment on the pics), but I'm getting in some biological controls for the pests that are troubling me soon, so the next batch should be better. I wish this one was looking as great as yours, Gr3atfulh3ad, I can hardly wait to taste this marvel you bred.

looks great. my casey jones are in flow too. put into flower on 10/10. few weeks left.
look similar, only difference is i got 4 ladies outta 6 seeds. enjoy!
YBC, kokua -
actually pretty subtle smell to her now.
My guess would be the thai smell, kindof hashy, faint perfumey odor.
I haven't had any thai to smoke since the 70's, so not certain. I'll be able to tell more once she's harvested.
thorodee - four of these incredible ladies, huh? I'm trying not to be jealous.

Thanks, I like the sound of that. I've just gotten these seeds, and the diesel heritage had me thinking since my grow situation favors more "discrete" odors.
Lookingup, very nice girl you got there. Really love seeing all the Casey grows. The Head family did a AWESOME job with this one. I'm planning on running some of these later on down the road and compairing them to the OE i have and the parents of the OE. Very nice grow, can't wait to hear your smoke report. Enjoy your smoke.
Take care,
BG
Thanks BG, sounds like we're getting phenos that must be close to your OE mother. I guess when you do your grow we'll get a more definitive answer on that. Having never had any experience with Trainwreck, I'm also curious about your take on how the Casey Jones and OE express Trainwreck vs. Thai traits.
Gotta say I love those Thai genetics too - if they're anything like the great Thai sticks we use to get in the service in the seventies!
Won't be too much longer before I can harvest for the smoke report.
Take care likewise,
LU
