I believe they say kelp is a dynamic accumulator and is full of sodium and other heavy metals. Shit it collects from the ocean. But I also believe it's one if the fastest growing plants in the world and is chock full of natural growth hormone and nutrients. It's a key ingredient in a lot of home grow consumer level soil mixes.

It seems like these legal cannabis markets undergo ridiculous testing and are held to ridiculous standards that even the food industry isnt held to. You can have all this copper iron zinc aluminum in tomatos or what the fuck ever, but a small percentage isnt allowed in legal cannabis? They're allowed to have so many bugs or rodent shit per can of soup, which is fucked up, but a small amount of naturally occurring metals and minerals arent allowed in weed.

I totally agree

I consider kelp meal to be another green, like barley or alfalfa. I feed them to my microbes while the soil cooks between runs. Is that wrong? I was top dressing some grow kashi in early flower, along with all the other crap I put on top and water in.

I put the kelp meal in my soil mix as well. I have also been tossing a couple handfuls in my water buckets while it off-gasses in-between feed/watering. So it soaks for 3 days or so. And the water turns brown.
I'm just tinkering with this as I approach mid flowering with this run. First time I did it I think I got a bit carried away. The very edges of some leaves went yellow.

I add alfalfa meal And fish meal to my soil mix as well. But I have not used barley yet. I have seen and heard of good results using malted barley as a top dress. Just haven't sourced any yet.

This plant is one of my favorites. It's an Atonic x Long Bottom Fighter. I thought I was gonna get a 1:1 plant and that's why I popped it, but I don't think she has any cbd. It's a straight up rocket ride. Very speedy. You have to have your project waiting and ready to go or you turn into a motivated mess with this stuff. Super exotic feminine citrus bronchio-dialator. I'm going to get this one tested to figure out how many different terpenes it registers. It's very complex and seems to keep evolving in the jar. I just call it Atonic, but I think that's a bit misleading. She was over-vegged and gonna be a floppy mess.

This is called Sour dough. I think cannarado made atleast half of this. It's pretty quick and the buds are heavy. I believe it's (Ajsour d x white) x (lemon g x ogkb x ogkb bx)
I reversed this last summer and knocked up my room. I will be trying those crosses out soon.
