Suggestion for actual side to side trial:

• Use same containers for both soil types at the same volume.
• Instead of putting all the 'hardier' ones in one soil-type and all the "weak" ones in another, put half of each in each type (and why stop at two?)

Your videos are getting better, but I've never started a seed in a mix that looked like yours. I don't know where you're getting your grow lore from. (I'm not saying nobody does it.. but I'm DEFINITELY SAYING that not everybody does it. Hence, it's merely a method, not a rule.)

How can you know that it's the fertilizer and not the container? (Larger container could retain more moisture, allow more oxygen to the roots, etc.) Only way to know is to do a straight up comparison.

In my experiments with pot size and shape, I find that container size makes a huge difference in the amount of growth one gets, all other things being equal.

And I'd still like to hear more about this growers lore you speak of.

here's my seedlings week 2 nothing but plain water and 1 feeding at 1/4 str yesterday im using seed starting mix mixed with more perlite cuz this shit is hard to wet the first time, a couple of plants, the 2 in the juice bottles i just reused the soil from my last grow. i mean literally i ripped the old plant out with whatever roots came up along with it then i planted the seeds in the dirt and watered em.

this one here is circa 94' a seed i have had since the 90's and i just transplanted it out of hempy last night before i went to bed, roughly 6 hours before this picture. it had bugs in the perlite which i reused also from another grow, i dunno what kinda bugs i transplanted it into some more seed starting mix, this brand is miracle gro, i hear you like em.

this is 6 hours before, roots had barely come out of the jiffy pot and into the perlite. notice any change in the 6 hours plus plain water in miracle gro seed starter mix?
compare it with your seedlings in that video you just made.

the only hard mode in your grow is you. everything else is easy, i bet if you left out of town another week and no one took care of your plants they would do better than the previous week where you were tending them.

I've never had a problem doing the ole "moist paper towel in a plastic baggy" trick...once they crack in 18-36 hours, I then simply put them in some normal potting mix like Garden Safe...i'd say my results are around 95% all time as well.

um, more room for roots, bigger plant....to many variables to work it down your mixture. run the test in the same size cups. I'll bet they would be the same size.

I dont think this guys a snitch, he's jokinly saying he reported u. Similar to how u would report a parent for leaving there 6 month old baby in the basement with heat lamps on it n only feeding the baby once a week. its just a play on words which u obviously missed

Dude, just put your seeds in seedling starter mix right out of the bag. wet the soil first, and insert the seed with taproot into the soil. Put the cup close to the light, and all of your seeds should grow as well as or better than your manure mix. Plus won't have to play with cow shit all day either.
