Haze is the name of of line developed by the haze bros outta santa cruz.

started out with two sativas one year and each year they added another sativa is my understandin. original Haze from the Haze bros consists of mexican,
thai, Indian and columbian.

there are many lines that have stuck the haze name on, but dont have a lick of OHaze in um. real deal OHaze originated with the Haze Bros. a clusterfuck of sativas does not constitute haze.

I've heard several theories on how the Haze was bred, such as Thai x Columbian x Mexican x Vietnamese.
My personal guess is that someone who just grew and crossed whatever he had got lucky, without keeping too much track of how it was done.
Why don't you ask Sam the Skunkman about it, he can give you a straight answer. It might actually prevent this thread from going another three pages with pure guesswork.

i see where this is going. i paid attention , i just cant seem to find the right words so u can understand where im coming from. i think ur right i cant make haze somebody already did that. but what i really want to know is what constitutes a 'haze'. purple kush, bubba kush, both are kushes, what makes them a kush? they have to have something in common right?

LOL, don't bring kushes into this, shit will really hit the fan. It is speculated that the cali kushes may not really have much real kush in them. Real kush being indica from the kush mountain range in afganistan and pakistan.

I believe that cedarberry is right about what constitutes a haze. I know there are some other good haze threads on here if you search it out. Hothouse flowers, sam the skunkman, and I think kashgar all seemed to know alot about haze. You can check them out. Hothouse flowers may be the most accessible.

what makes em a "kush" in my opinion is the taste all kushes have that "kush" taste...same with haze..i dont' give a fuck if its blueberry haze...it should taste like haze or it aint' haze, but thats just me, get u some breeder packs of haze grow em out pick some females that are kinda spicy , like inscence almost...super heady high long lasting theres your haze you won't ever forgot a real haze taste

Original Haze is the name given to a Hybrid variety developed from Columbian And Mexican with Thai and South Indian added later. It was not real consistant, but the best were in my opinion the best Cannabis I have ever seen. Pure Sativa, with a taste, smell, and high above all others.
Nowadays you see many non-Sativa hybrids that are called Haze, but they are not the same. They can be good but not as good as the Original Haze.
And no you can not just get Sativas hybridize them and call the progeny Haze. Anymore then I can build a car from scratch and call it a FORD.

ha ha . i remember kid on OG. if that was three years ago, he's probably like 15 now. his friend was selling him all this purple haze or something, and everyone who didn't believe him was a "hater."
