While the leaf structure is not what I was hoping for (I personally think that it shows hybrid genes), the smell is wonderful when rubbing the stems of the females.

Straight up smell of a pack of "Incense Cones". In a time where Cannabis smells like Fruity Pebbles Cereal, Grape Jelly, Bubble Gum, Lemons and Ect. This is a unique smell that I am enjoying so very much. I could just keep rubbing the stems and smelling my fingers but I have to leave these special ladies alone (and special they are).

I think that when these seeds are ready the community is going to be very happy. Everyone is in search of the lost hay-day Ganja, well this is for sure different then anything you will see or get from a commercial grower.

All I can do is say Thank You to the family that passed on these beans to me. Thank you for letting me into your very personal world and strain.

Bigherb,

If you have been in search of the plant with the Incense smell then look no further, here she is. I am telling you these babies smell just like a pack of Incense Cones. The smell is so unique a buddy of mine was doing the same thing as myself rubbing the stem and sniffing his fingers over and over again. He just kept saying wow how unique. He said it smells like Incense and something that people use on their bodies instead of Deoderant. I have no clue what he is talking about with that.

Hazy Lady,

Thank You dearly for your comments regarding this thread. I am just so happy that I was gifted these beans. I had to share my journey with these plants and share such a wonderfully different plant with our community via beans.

I don't know exactly which Incense they smell like. The next time I am in the smoke shop I will have to sniff some Incense and see which one that smells like my ladies.

This is the first strain that I have come across that has this Incense trait. That is why I am so intrieged with it.

Have you come across many strains which carry this trait?

ur local shop wil just caz more confusion as wit cannabis the names r bastardized depending on rareity most pure incense r rare n expensive
the history is very interesting they are sacred and highly prized incense frankincense in particular is very religious according to the bible it was a gift to jesus from one of the kings

There are four main species of Boswellia which produce true frankincense and each type of resin is available in various grades. The grades depend on the time of harvesting, and the resin is hand sorted for quality. Anyone interested in frankincense would be well advised to first obtain a small sample of each type from a reputable dealer in order to ascertain the difference between each resin

Have you come across many strains which carry this trait?
all day but only were we come were im from lol
well in from nyc and the nyc uptown haze hybrids good great amazin many of which carry this incense trait som of which we consider church ukno top of the line and then there is frankies which is frankincense the best haze/strain ive eva smoked

frankincense is common in catholic community as the frankincense is burned during the mass of funerals so we associate church wit our nyc haze hybrids

until ive experienced shanti sk/hz mns i neva tasted fruit or really anything sweet in my haze but along wit the tropical fruit taste i get som incense church type n fuel

amazin considering the legend of nevs haze parents have come from nyc
and frankincense is associated with neville haze
ill tlk more bout my mns haze exp wen cure is done

maybe now you understand why im soo excited/interested in this strain and its history

It was told to me on Halloween by a friend of the brothers that lived within the families cabin for a few years that the original seed from this HAZE comes from a Pound of Haze that the family got in Santa Rosa California in 1989 and found seed in. They have been breeding it and keeping it pure since that time.

Update

Update

Here is a quick photo update of my favorite "little" female with her roots restricted. She is doing great. This is turning out to be like my most favorite plant ever. She is a light feeder, but it you do give her a heavy dose she doesn't show ill effects. She smells of Incense, her color is a nice shade of green, her bud structure is not as wispy as her sisters from the previous grow were, but yet not no where near as thick as an Indica bud whatsoever.

Something else that stands out is that her leaves have the last 2 blades curling backwards. It is like this on every leaf section. There are smaller leaves that have NO or very little seration and curl backward. You can see it in the picture of the leaf. (actually after seeing the picture posted you can't see it. I will get a better pic next week)

Who has seen this in a leaf section before?

Does anyone have info on the Homegrown Fantaseeds Haze? Theres so little info on it. i read id was based on the old positronics haze, dont know if thats true. Whats was the positronics haze like, where did it come from?

I guess im asking how does it stack up with the more proven hazes?

Small Update:

Small Update:

She has been "growing" (don't know how long she has been flowering) I believe for 69 days today. I am not going to be keeping track of how long she has been growing or flowering and things of that nature because she will be growing for so long that I will just lose track and get frustrated anyway so I will just let her flower until she tells me that she is done which I know will be sometime in January.

She is really restricted root wise and her lower leaves are showing it. As they are already starting to yellow, she won't get any special feedings or nutes to accompany this, she will just handle it how she handles it (which will mean she will start to look really ugly later, but the high from her buds will be amazing).

I know not many people could have a plant "growing" in there room for 69 days already with buds that only measure the size of their thumb. But those that know what this plants smoke will become will welcome the beans from these genetics with open arms and grow rooms.
