Hey. It's all about the medicine. If this strain really works for you then it won't matter what other people are doing, just be thankful to have some great smoke. It will still be pretty rare anyhow, so a few more sativa lovers out there will be enjoying it too. peace

Like i said, not everybody can understand that. You never was a collector of anything? Im sure im not the only person who like to collect things of all kinds stamps, coins etc., are all those people narcissists? And i really never said that i don't allow someone to grow them, only that it was a Gift by a Friend who pleased me to hold them tight. What would you do when a friend pleased you to not give it away, would you ignore his wish? :)
Lets take the Jamaican Lambs Bread and Charli Garcias Oaxacan 79' for example, these are available for a relatively small cycle of people, only they decide who get them. They only want that nobody makes money with it, and of course they seems to be collectors. The bigger the cycle the bigger the chance someone will try to make money, rename it etc.
Do you really think that all the old strains which now comes back had survived without collectors? I don't think so! So collectors are very important, but they also can drive you crazy. :)

Hey mate. :)

Yes i'll make a smoke report. Was just a bit sad yesterday.
Please don't think that im a extreme emotional person, but Cannabis is my biggest Hobby and maybe im taking it a bit to serious, it was like a little stick in the heart. :)

But one thing i can say for sure, it's pretty hard to sleep for me on the Hawaiian Sativa. Im awake since 26 hours.

Its hoarding thing, maybe there is more collectors but cause of this selfish collectors they cant collect this things that this people have...

all in all that is a very sad situation for a plant that need to be for all people... no body reads Genesis 1:29 from this tight collectors..

and they all hate money... ;) ohhh yesss...they are spiritual beings..

but still some have companies that sell seeds.. hypocrisy of highest kind if you ask me.

Usually this kind of people are rare Sativa collectors... its already a stereotip where you can found them, guess this sativas exchange
so much ego that you practicaly stop sharing in proper way...

or they love that people beg them for genetics... then they feel
hole again.

Wished also to say that i liked how you growed her and i understand if your friend asked from you that you dont share
so you respected his wish...

but still dont get what he gets from this move... selfishness
never brings good, its a bad Karma in the end.

Sorry for rant and it wasnt goes in your direction, simply am not
so much for those collectors, think they dont have a right and
dont made proper, hope God will deactivate all seeds that they selfish keep for close circle of friends... :) LOL

 it's like drinking a few coffees to much. The first week after harvest i was feeling a bit tired after smoking a HS Joint, not that indica tired feeling but a bit to relaxed. Now it's getting more and more a energie boost, feels like a restless leg syndrome. The cleanest high i personally feeled to this Day! Will write more to the smells and tastes later+pictures!

Yes i agree to you, hording is one thing, maybe im one of those horders, i don't know.
But the Problem with collectors is, they wanna give it in the best hands they can find. And it's pretty hard to find people over the internet where you can say " here man, take it and take care of it". In my Friend cycle there is no other grower, so i have to go in the internet to living out this hobby and find trustfull people.

I think the reason why charlie garcia don't release the oaxaca 79 is, that he maybe also promised to someone to not give them out or make money with them? Who knows?

The Friend who gave me the Seeds is a very friendly person and sativa cannaseur, he is growing for decades, and yeah he was trusting me. :)

Thank you, yes the HS was very nice to grow. Very vigorous, don't need much veg time. And it's very important to let her full ripe, next round i'll give them a bit more time. But you can try it out in a few months by yourself.

I need to sleep a bit, will be on later for the smoke report!:tiphat:

Hola....

Hola....

On the Jamaican Lambsbread and Oaxacan, these were originally shared by two kind souls in GrowD and ElChichas. These were shared or traded freely.

Be careful to think that one hybrid is the end all great one. There are countless great ones out there all over the world.

If the concern is that they will be sold by another, then my recommendation is to use them as trade bait. You can amass a great collection.

There are some of us that are doing great work behind the scene on the great ones. Though, we are few, the future of cannabis looks bright.

In the end, everyone has free will to choose their path in life. All the best in your choices.

are you just making open polenisation to keep as much genetique material as possible ?
or working it bottlenecking everything before everyone as a chance to search trough the genetics ?

I wanna say thank you to everybody who was following this thread over the last months.
I know many of you were disappointed when i wrote that i can't give out the Hawaiian Seeds in it's pure form, maybe some was hating me for this. But the Friend who gave those Seeds to me really pleased me to hold them tight, maybe i was also a bit egoistic and happy to have something rare what not many had. But who would not be happy to have something rare?
For me it was like having a very rare comic book or a old car, not that i collect comics or cars but the feeling maybe is the same? But than one day someone is flooding the market with a big container of your favorite rare comic book, and you losing that special feeling which collectors feel. I know many people can't understand this and think it's just a plant or something, but for me it was the only rare strain i had.
RC_Colas asked me and the friend who gave the seeds to me a few times if we share some seeds with him cause he wanna spread them far, we said no. But it seems he was able to get them from other sources which never released them till today to the masses. I think he was a bit angry about my Friend and me, and now he is laughing about us, but laughing is healthy right? :)

Im happy for all the people who are looking for so long for the Hawaiian Sativa, but im also feeling a bit sad that it now losing it's status of a rare strain. Normally the plan was to make a few nice crosses and send them to seedbay, but i don't have the feeling to do it anymore and honestly losing all my motivation for this. You now could do it by your own with those seeds!

This was my last post in this thread, im sorry to make my last post to a cry baby post, but that's what i feel now. You can switch to RC_Colas thread here! Bye :thank you:

This is the sickness of socialism that plagues our planet, people have been brainwashed in to thinking that they have rights to whats yours and if you have it and they want it you need to fork it over.

Hoard on my friend, that is capitalism, enjoy it, embrace it, relish it.

There is something so enchanting about something that is rare and unusual.

Hi, it would need a hour for me to answer all of you in English. Just wanna say, nobody is perfect. And please don't hate the Buddy who gave the Seeds to me, the Sativa lovers under you are knowing him, he is under us. And at least he was giving it in a new hand, so he didn't horded it completely!

Hope you guys are enjoying RC_Colas release, nice old school smells and tastes to find in the HS line. :tiphat:

P.S: Will write on the smoke report now!

I have to agree with the general sentiment of Huesos statement above. Selfish hoarding is not conducive to being a respected member of the cannabis community. It's not about socialism or capitalism or any other political or economic theory. It's about communion in nature. It's about the plant and ensuring that rare and valuable varieties get preserved and worked. And sharing the benefits of cooperation with like minded human beings. I understand being a collector. But, I have given/traded freely from my collection for years. And, I have benefited greatly by the relationships that I have built and the spirit of generosity that giving/trading fosters. It truly returns to you ten fold.

You did a bang up job growing and preserving that Fed Hawaiian Pineapple. And after all they are your beans. Loyalty to a friend is very important. And I'm sure if you weren't burdened with stipulation you would have chosen to pass on a few. No big thing. Is what it is. :)

Smell: Creamy, sweet berry, Spicy with citrus undertones. When burned it leaves a nice incense smell in the Air.

Taste: very smooth citrusy with a light creamy undertone, sweet and spicy to the same time.

High: Very clear and focused with a nice energy boost, it's a creeper and coming in waves. There is also a nice stimulating body feeling. (Was harvesting a bit to early, there were not much milky trichomes this round, so it's not as longlasting as it can be i think)

Smell: Vicks Vaporub with a sweet spicy citrusy incense smell, there is also some kind of a cheesy smell. Very nice and complex

Taste: similar to the smell.

High: pretty much the same as the other one, maybe a bit more intense on the beginning. They are all very similar from the type of high, some stronger as the other. Must be good in F1 crosses.

Smell: Light citrusy insence smell.

Taste: smooth sweet citrusy, with a mild insence aftertaste

High: same as the other

Smell: strong incense with very sweet citrusy undertones. That was the strongest incense smelling plant this round. Leaves a very strong insence smell in the Air when smoking.

Taste: sweet citrusy with a strong incense aftertaste, also spicy peppery.
