Having pest issues... please help!

Hello everyone,

I am currently facing a few issues and would be forever grateful for some help.

I are currently finding aphids on my plants about 7 weeks into flowering. I don't notice any until they are starting to really cover quite a few leaves. I stop spraying in flower about 3 weeks in because i am worried of getting bud rot. I use Flying skull Nuke Em twice a week up til then. I lollipop my plants really high so I mostly just have big kolas on the top. Does any one have a recipe or products that i should look into using that wont lead to bud rot? Or any ideas in general to relieve my issue?

I also just noticed some root aphids a couple days ago and am starting to apply Go Gnats as a soil drench. Have you had experience with this product before?

My final issue is fungus gnats. They are just about everywhere and I feel as though there is probably an easy remedy for them that i'm not aware of. I have the sticky traps but I still find them stuck to leaves and flying all about the room.

Any help or links would be gratefully appreciated!

Look under the newbie forums under fungus gnats. I just posted a whole paragraph on how to rid a growroom of them. Basically they r there because u have created a good enviroment for them. Theyll leave no prosuct bought when u take away the thing they need to live food water, a nice place to reproduce is in overwatered soil thats warm. A layer of sand on top of ur soil will suffocate their eggs, larvae, and keeps them from wanting to land and lay eggs. Anyways what bugs me is 71 people viewed ur post and not one of them replied to help. Wtf guys. Lady bugs will not harm ur plants as they r carnivores, and will consume up to 50 aphids per day as will lacewing. When the aphids r gone the predators will leave or die off. This is the most natural way to rid urself of them and their fun to watch. Especially the lacewing. Refered to as the serial killer of the beneficial insects. It hunts out egg colonies and lays its eggs nect to the aphids. Then their larvae hatches and eats the aphid colony. Lacewing also aggressively hunt down aphids and kill them by puncture wound even when they dont need to feed. I cant remember if its correct or not but I believe the lacewing when presented with starvation will go cannibal and eat each other eradicating the cleanup of dead bugs. So call some nurseries in ur area release them in ur garden or growroom. Get a bowl, get some popcorn and watch ur most hated pests b destroyed without buying a bunch of stuff or really lifting a finger. Now with ladybugs I believe the smallest amount u can buy is 1500. I could b wrong on that, but dont worry cause u can release 1/2 and put the other half in a refrigerator. This will simulate winter for them and theyll go dormant. U can keep them suspended in winter mode for up to 2-3 months. The longer u keep them in there the more casualties ull have though and they must b brought out and sprayed with water and then allowed to dry out and placed back in the fridge every 2 weeks or so.

Get a vacuum out and suck up as many bugs as possible.

Then remove any fan leaves that are infected.

Spray with fresh water and blow a fan on the plants.

Do not use go gnat or anything like that. If you did, just flush you media. You are 7 weeks into flower, goal is get to harvest with least damage as possible.

Once harvested clean the heck out of that room with bleach, bombs, whatever you can get your hands on.

And clean or toss any pots or equip that can't be sterilized.

Read the Root Aphid thread, it's quite sobering as to what the future holds for you. GoGnats is the equivalent of yelling at them.
