Yeah, it seems you attack my credibility when you ask if I grow. It's a cannabis site after all and that is my reason for being here. I would rather speakers corner didn't exist. I used to view your thread when you were Pablo? (I think). Quite some years ago.

I'm honestly not high strung, the opposite in fact. It's hard to tell from writing, but if you met me in person we'd probably get on. In speakers corner, I have had so many personal attacks that I don my helmet when in here, and give back if I think someones having a go.

Wish I had got the Highland Mex x BB when it was around. There's a thread about Chimera maybe coming back soon, we'll see.

My attacks on the US are more from the point of view as how it affects the rest of the world, not meant to be personal. I'd feel the need to defend Australia if there was a similar thread, so do get it.

I question several people’s motives for being on this forum when they spend the majority of their time and effort specifically in this space. It’s just strange to me. I get the entertainment factor but that’s because I don’t take any thing discussed seriously. Some appear to take it to heart. People get really upset and angry…and express bad behavior all over stuff that is often fabricated or is beyond their control.

I don’t spend all my time on this forum just reading about weed or growing it either. There’s only so much that needs to be known after all these years. When I was growing around the clock and calendar I spent more time on IC because it helped me learn tricks and network to collect genetics. But now I have all the genetics I could ever possibly grow in two lifetimes at least…and I only have a garden every couple/few years now. Then I do appear.

The Highland Mex X BB I got a lot of mileage out of….but it was more because I outcrossed it back into the Blues (Original Flo) and other things. I sent a bunch of beans of those crosses to friends. But most those dudes are not on this forum any longer. I keep in touch in real life with a couple of them…and some are still on a private forum that I was a member of for years. Believe it or not politics has gotten into that pot forum too. one of the reasons I left it. It wasn’t special anymore. Just the same bullshit. Might as well be public and on a bigger stage.

My view of the USA is just way different than what is portrayed by people in this forum. Especially by some of my fellow citizens. Not like I haven’t been around the world or have just isolated myself in the mountains of New Mexico. I have been far…and I’m from San Diego originally…a County with 3 million people. Madness.

Far from a nationalist or a believer in this system. But I’m not going to bag on it either. Governments are necessary evils. I realized that when I was a teenager. I’m not pretending I am participating in government by voting for people who are corrupted and obviously serving entities beyond my scope or beliefs. I’m not seeking great change in it (nor expect it)….no desire to see revolution. It all goes full circle anyway.

Just not understanding why a lot of people…who have it good…are so unhappy with what they have. And why they need to believe in fantasy stories that lead them to headspace where they are fearful and upset. It’s an illusion being sold. And not a good one. With the advent of the internet the disease has spread at a more rapid pace. Now attention spans and views are corrupted not just by media but by media infected every day schmoes. That’s what this corner of a pot forum is an example of to me.

But yeah…it’s all real Life sucks…the sky is falling…humans are destroying everything…social security is running out…the stock market is tanking…politicians are assholes…wars are raging…fascists and commies run rampant…we’re all going to die horribly

Let’s discuss it while we are plugged in on a public pot forum getting high on herb that we grow for happiness !!!!

Which is all fine if you don't mind nature killing you or your loved ones. If I can take a vaccine that provides protection against things that kill or make me sick, then I happily do so. Nature from time to time throws up some very nasty diseases.

If there was a vaccine against the Black Plague which wiped out half the population in the middle ages would you just "harmonise" with nature, or take the vaccine?

Immunisation is not futile, far from it. It would have saved my uncle from polio had it been around. Ever met someone who's had polio? If there was an outbreak of Ebola would you think the same? If covid had been like the Spanish Flu and killed young healthy people no harmonising with nature's going to stop it.

By all means be fit and health, watch your diet and lifestyle, but don't tell me that will prevent serious infectious disease. It simply won't.
