The vaccine absolutely stopped people getting covid, especially in the early days, before the Delta (I think). I didn't get covid until late last year, my vaccinated dad still has never had it. The vaccine is still somewhat effective, about as much as the flu vaccine.

Yeah, the 10 hours of chook sounds you posted 2 pages back. Kinda relaxing.
Forgot about the 10 hrs of chooks :ROFLMAO:
Must be the drugs ?

Both my parents had the vaxx and boosters and got corona, both in their 80s and thought nothing of it, just like a cold

Had corona twice and it was no worse than a cold
cool anecdote, some ppl had ZERO symptoms and some ppl were handicapped or dead. lotta ppl dead.

saying you felt no worse than a cold is whatever, saying covid-19 in general is no worse than a cold is an insane and patently false thing to say.

many healthy ppl died.

and again, it's not just the elderly but also the very young (just like other sicknesses, duh), and even young healthy adults and shit, common cold doesn't kill millions in a couple years

good luck getting a virus to give a shit about penicillin
while the body is fighting the virus, it can be prone to bacteriological assault. the penicillin is to treat the bacteriological infection.

pseudo prophylaxis - i don't believe in homeopathy, which is what the intramuscular injection actually is. so, pseudo science.

you understand,

@BudToaster

do you understand how police sketches work?

you show the public what the bad guy looks like, so that when they see him they can alert the authorities who can apprehend said bad guy.

If you are addressing me, you inferred it was a virus following the posting of the chart re: penicillan and diphtheria (Corynebacterium diphtheriae) which is treatable with antibiotics. I am just making a correction.

From the earlier discussion concerning childhood vaccines, I looked up the vaccine schedules for US children. It is mind boggling in magnitude. https://www.uptodate.com/contents/image?imageKey=PI/60399

Out of curiosity, I looked up the schedule for Mexican children. It is also substantial, however a little smaller. I've not heard of greater disease rates in Mexican kids. (but..)
Something jumped out at me BIGTIME - In Mexico the MR vaccine is often used (measles & rubella) rather than the MMR administered in the USA.

This motivated me to compare the autism rates of the 2 countries.
USA 1 in 36 kids
MEX 1 in 115
This is no where near evidentiary but my hackles went up. Some of this discrepancy could be lack of diagnosis, etc. but still 'what a difference'.

It would be interesting to compare global rates correlated with vaccines - no?
https://www.goldenstepsaba.com/resources/what-country-has-the-highest-rate-of-autism
Look at India.

  • South Korea: 1 in 38 children
  • United States: 1 in 36 children
  • Japan: 1 in 87 children
  • Sweden: 1 in 100 children
  • Denmark: 1 in 60 children
  • Australia: 1 in 70 children
  • Canada: 1 in 66 children
  • Norway: 1 in 59 children
  • Belgium: 1 in 134 children
  • Finland: 1 in 86 children
  • France: 1 in 100 children
  • Germany: 1 in 160 children
  • Italy: 1 in 166 children
  • Netherlands: 1 in 82 children
  • Spain: 1 in 100 children
  • Switzerland: 1 in 77 children
  • UK: 1 in 64 children
  • China: 1 in 160 children
  • India: 1 in 500 children

gotcha, i was actually responding specifically to what budtoaster said here, the last line of his comment:

treatment beats homeopathic pseudo-prophylaxis.

which i took to mean (and this was later confirmed) vaccines, most of which are for viruses, hence my comment.

(speaking to the ethyr)

go ahead and stock up on moldy cheese (mmmmmm, blue stilton) but if there's no bacterial infection present, then i suppose having skipped your immunization rounds turned out to be the poor choice.
