What safety standards are you talking about? The agency in my country which is responsible to examine side effects of those mRNA injections did nothing after they received 100 notifications of deaths on day 2 when those mRNA injections were given and still we have to deal to this day with excess mortality.It was far from untested. Decades of research into mNRA. It passed safety standards by governments the world over.
Here we are 5 years down the track. I didn't die suddenly after 2 years as many said I would. There's still no data to suggest any such things as the many anti vaxxers said would happen. I was the anti vaccination movement that said the sky was falling, not the sensible.

What if you are not at risk from Covid? And it’s a normal cold/flu to you. Is it riskier to take a brand new medication that went warp speed thru the clinical trials or get a fever/sniffles for a couple days?

The covid vax never stopped anyone getting covid, no point having one.
Same as wearing masks that did nothing, so no point wearing one.
never stayed locked up at home like a lot of people.

Don't have a new born baby. covid was no worse than a cold.
Don't get the flu vaxx, flu can kill people.
More likely to have life long problems from the untested corona vaxx than from corona

The vaccine absolutely stopped people getting covid, especially in the early days, before the Delta (I think). I didn't get covid until late last year, my vaccinated dad still has never had it. The vaccine is still somewhat effective, about as much as the flu vaccine.
