I'm more like Biden on this one, "I don't trust anyone, including you" so yeah I don't trust the FDA, like they never approved something that turned out to be bad for you...

They approved Seroquel which ended up giving a lot of people diabetes. They approved Xanax which can give you Alzheimer's. They approved Oxycotin which is almost exactly like heroin. I can find a hell of a lot more fuck ups too if I Google it those are just off the top of my head. So many pharmaceutical drugs have had lots of really bad reactions and I'm not old enough or unhealthy enough to fear Covid-19 enough to put a drug in my body that has not been properly studied. Xanax won't give you Alzheimer's until you get older and abuse it for years, I want to see what happens 6 months after the booster shots, sounds like yet another booster shot to me. Plus it can infect animals and go right back to humans so if your cats and dogs ain't vaccinated you have no reason to worry about me, plus I don't give change to the homeless, so you're safe from me.

Medicines often have side effects, they are give and take, not magic....

In most cases it is up to the person to decide whether the side effects are worth it or not, but in other situations the choice is made for you.

Seroquel can indeed have some bad side effects, but if it brings a suicidal or just otherwise psychotic person back to some level of functioning then whatever the side effects are, they are usually better than the alternative- being stuck in psychosis or being dead.

Smoking too much herb can cause terrible side effects too. It is also not magic. Even though it feels like it.

That being said, i have a great deal of respect for the people at the FDA. Sometimes it takes a while for long term effects to show up to a level where a clear link can be made and sometimes there are nefarious bad actors that use extreme methods to exert influence to get something approved that never should have been. And sometimes people make mistakes. But most of the time, they get it right. Are they “right” about the vaccines? Time will tell.

I’m taking my chances with the vaccine because i know how dangerous this virus is.

Anyway this person said that in order to get something FDA approved it means the manufacturer has to pay huge sums of money. And that just because a product is not approved doesn´t neccessarily means that it is no good, it just means they didn´t give the FDA a lot of money.

Ever since reading this, I´m a little sceptical... about something that is suppose to give people peace of mind.

yeah, it´s what happened with one of the covid vaccines didn´t it? A company called Biontech developed it and then they teamed up with Pfizer. They couldn´t have done it alone

The money and time involved does make sense in many ways especially for serious meds such as vaccines or other prescription drugs. But dietary supplements- a little over the top imo
I´m still a little apprehensive about the timeline for the corona vax... but there´s not much I can do about it I guess

I do remember, when I was a little kid and not wearing a seat belt became illegal and punishable by law in the country we were living in... it was mostly the men around who were complaining about it and many refused, got caught and were indeed punished.
Face masks are no different these days except that sooner or later we won´t actually need them anymore Just a matter of time, that´s all.
