Trump is everything you said. The reason I don't like him is he doesn't have consistent principles and that will cause him to make some stupid and egotistical decisions.
I like that he might try to bring the world back from the edge of nuclear war, but that doesn't mean I like or trust him in every aspect.

First you have to recognize and understand the only way to achieve peaceful outcomes is to empower people and systems that use peaceful means as the default.
It is impossible to separate the means from the ends. They are linked.
None of what I said nullifies the use of legit defensive force, it only means if you use offensive force from the onset, peaceful outcomes become impossible. Government has no magical exception to that axiom.
Yet people have been trained to overlook that.
That is the problem.
More respect for peaceful self-determination is a good place for each of us to start to solve that problem. Begin with our own actions, if a person isn't using offensive force against us, we have no right to force our ideas on them. Start there.

The problem with me is I advance peaceful notions as the default and you keep clamoring for being able to force your ideas on other people. You may not see that or be willing to admit it yet, but it's true.
Do you really think I support wars of aggression where innocent people are murdered? I don't.
I support defensive force as being a valid action, offensive force as invalid and wrong.
