To be more clear., science isn’t an appeal to authority logical fallacy.
It’s a process that spits out better and better approximations of reality. The real test is if your theory accurately predicts future behavior of a system.
if it doesn't, then it isn't a scientific theory... more like conjecture, maybe a hypothesis but then if it demonstrably cannot predict reality, it's more like trash

i'm at the age now where i can't really afford to be nonchalant about it anymore (and i KNOW i'm younger than you haha)... my arm's still sore from my shot yesterday, but i definitely feel like i waited too long.
just got over something last week that reminded me of norovirus but lasted 5 days... pure hell. speaking of history... damn, dying of dysentary back before modern times... i think i'd rather be pulled apart by horses

the funny thing is, i'm not. you can see your sekf, if you want... see me taking many hours entertaining the antivaxxer rhetoric, since i had to make the decision to vaccinate my kids. gotta have all the info...
i spent WAYYYYY too much of my free time (many many hours, ask my wife she hates it ask my therapist he loves it) debating y'all on forums and the ONLY thing i learned that was of use was that the moderna vaccine, when you're a young man or late teen boy, might lead to myocarditis at a rate about as high as the virus... but i don't have teens and haven't been one in a long time.
still waiting on these mass deaths, waiting on my death (first got the vaccine in 2021, so...) i've got what? two- ish years left to live? still willing to waste it on your BEST two pieces of evidence for statistically significant numbers of vaccine- caused deaths.

you have no idea what you got. there was a lot of placebo jabbed. if there wasn't, hot lots wouldn't be a thing. no quality control testing was done, or if so, the results are "trade secrets". might as well pick up a needle in prospect park.

Flu shots and Covid shots both help people in high risk groups.

The issue is trying to force a leaky vaccine on populations where it’s not needed.
Making kids get a Covid vax is like vaccinating white people against sickle cell.
do you know which age is at the lowest risk? which under 18s are at the highest risk?
speaking in terms of INFECTED fatality rates, not total numbers

Due to low prevalence of symptomatic Covid in people under 5 that’s impossible to know. In most states deaths of <1 year are single digit.
