Have some questions, please HELP!

I'll be starting my first grow by the end of this month. The grow room of choice will be a secret jardin darkroom tent 2ft. x 2ft. x 4ft.7, i'll be using a 400w cool tube light from HTG supply along with a 4" carbon filter/fan. I'll be trying to fit 9 plants in there using 2 gallon pots. I want to veg them for atleast 2 weeks for 18hrs a day before i switch them to 12/12. Will the light bulbs that are included with my lighting system be ok or should i swap them out in favor for some better brands? If so, what light bulbs will be the best to veg them in to get the best grow out of them before i switch them to flower? After switching them to 12/12 what light bulbs will be best for them to flower in to get the most and biggest buds at the end of the run? Any help would be greatly appreciated, looking foward for some answers, thanks.

Im trying to keep my plants fairly short since my grow tent is only 4ft.7in tall.
If u recommend me to veg longer, how long should i go? Which brand of light bulbs should i go with? i want to produce the most and biggest buds possible at the end.

i was told by another member from a different forum to let them veg in the regular 400w MH bulbs and the switch it to the philips son t plus 430w HPS for flower. This way i'll get the most yield with huge buds at the end. Does this sound correct?

yes. blue spectrum for veg and red for flower. if wanting to keep plants shorter, dont slack on light as they will stretch anyway. look into doing some LST to your plants while in veg. this will allow you to give them plenty of veg time and you control the height, not nature. will also increase your yields by a considerable amount in a small grow space. good luck sb
