Hate The Screen

As the title says, I hate using a screen over my plants. I have also been experimenting by tieing my plant and spreding the branches (Used adhesive hooks on my lids to tie strings too).

But have only done it once and to 2 plants, and liked doing it more then my screen.

Sorry was off topic. What I would like to know is on a small scale a screen will help, but say I want to go big, would I dump the screen? Right now my tent is 5x5x5 feet 4 plants, 1000 Watt. (Just right size for the wife and me). and was thinking of turing my whole room into a grow room (Avg size 2nd bed room).

What would work better?
I dont care about amount as much since it is just the wife and me smoking it. I just wanted to grow a few differend kinds, and also make some more hash.

How about a screen attached to the pot? Each pot separate, it's easier to get around. Do a search under SCROG something should pop up.

You can use tall bamboo stakes and tie up each branch individually, works well with a little more labor.

Mostly with outdoor, I like to put a tomato cage over the plant when it is young and have it fill out through it.

got a friend who uses 2 6ft x 3ft nft tanks with 6x6 mesh screen on top 6 plants in each tank he only vegies for 9 to 10 day then flowers he get massive yeilds every time i no it comes down to a lot of other things like he been growing 25 year but its just a thought cheers

if its just you and the missus smoking then a 1000 should keep you swimming in buds which ever way you do it. i would say scrog is the easiest training method and if you do modular it takes away most of the disadvantages like not being able to move the plants.

lst can be just as good but takes more skill and time to get a canopy as even as a good scrog.
