Hashplants

my 88g13hp girls are all jarred up for final curing.
Been sampling them a bit and one has just a slight hint of sandalwood at the start of the joint...... exacty what i was looking for. I have a clone of that one too. Sadly my only male from the seeds I had started showing signs of intersex after the stress protocols I put them thru before choosing the plants for light dep this summer.
I know it might be a long shot but if anyone has any pollen to spare........ hit me up. I would really like to make more seeds and dive into the gene pool.

I think this kind of weed for 21st century is obsolete. if it is for hash making, there are many strains available today giving you a lot more productivity with either sativa or indica terpenes. But something is never obsolete when it comes to preserving heritage or identity

As happens with many other strains and seedbanks that carry fantasy names, this one should be called Sinai RSC to distinguish from real Sinai which was not CBD at all. I am not sure CBD strains are appropiate for camel riding and wandering around the desert.

I agree. The Sinai RSC is a typical Middle Eastern hashplant, variable but low amounts of THC and variable but usually moderate amounts of CBD. They aren't meant to be smoked as flower. You really want an entire field so you can make hashish. That's the only way I could see it being worth my time to grow, except as a novelty or ornamental.

An exception is that Lebanon used to have quite a few more areas that were famous for cannabis growing, besides the Bekka Valley. There were mountain varieties that probably had higher levels of THC grown in Christian and Muslim areas. The civil war and the drug police destroyed most of these crops. Crickets and Cicadas has a red Lebanese hashplant they're making hybrids with. Sounds great, I'd like to try it out.

Their Sensi Star x Puck Bx1 (Puck is also called the Skelly hashplant) is an excellent hashplant. Unlike the 88G13HP it has terrible mold resistance. The buds are huge and extremely dense. I had to chop them a few days early and chop up quite a few of the large nugs to get rid of the mold. That's okay, it's been a tremendous rain free October and I've brought most of it in. Here's what they look like.

The Red Baloch from Indian Landrace Exchange is slow to finish. It and the Pink Pistil need another week or probably two. Too bad the rains are coming tomorrow. Going to let them go until the absolute last minute. She has beautiful pink hairs and a complex spicy aroma. Very unique and very wonderful.

Out of the two Afghans I grew from Indian Landrace Exchange's Durand Line Project I grew this year, Shahjoy and Zer Karez, the Shahjoy turned out wonderful. Here's a look at the smaller one. It had a tall lanky form. Didn't look like much until the last week when it stacked an insane amount of resin. Blown away by it. The smell isn't really pleasant, dominated by kerosene along with other odors that are hard to describe. I've got a feeling the hashish from it is going to be phenomenal. These pictures are a few days old, it's gotten insanely frosty the last couple days. Just as much as a western type hashplant but it has a more open structure. Not a spot of mold anywhere.

Interesting lines you have there! The Shajoy really has a lot of flower bract leaves and good resin coverage! Excellent hashplants, great work! Thanks for sharing!

Indian Land Race Kandahar Black mother and clone getting darker every day from top down with aromas are increasing as well.
The Guerilla mother developed mold only where I pollinated and seeds started growing.
The garden clone has been pollinated as well but no mold and seeds look great.
I believe it's because the guerilla area doesn't have as much air flow as it's planted in the middle of dense vegetation.

Some 88G13HP in very early flowering.. 3 males, 1 female..

On a stem rub I'm getting a baby poo, skunk, match sulfur skunkyness....

Will be hitting a bunch of my mothers with the pollen in an open pollination. I wish I would have gotten more females but had a hard time getting the beans to sprout in hot soil...

Sounds like a great lineup of hybrids! Looking forward to hearing how they do. Skunk is probably derived from afghan genetics, we'll call it good.

That skunk is from a batch of 1993 skunk seeds I was gifted when I got out. Hunted quite a few and kept this one cut after a few runs.. I like her alot 🙂

I just finished a seed run too for this summer outdoors where I'll hopefully have plenty of winners to choose/breed with.

But yeah, nice little lineup 🙂 I don't think I'll make a serious journal, I'll post every now and then on here.

There's a lot of variation in those seeds, as you'd expect from landrace genetics. The mold resistance especially, I had one plant that I'd call bulletproof. I let it go until mid November in western Washington with almost no mold. The earliest one, probably would have finished in late October, was as mold prone as any plant I've seen. I was barely able to harvest a flower off her. It was too bad because she was the best one. Stocky, bushy, and had dense nugs that had an amazing purple/fuel/grape/nutty flavor. Absolute top of the line but she only lived on in volunteers. The ones I assumed were her progeny were awesome. Any seed limbs I made were very mold prone. All of my Kandahar black were purple/black, didn't have any come out green. Flower formation was extremely variable, from fairly dense well-formed nugs to foxtail 'grape' type clusters to no buds at all. Just running collections of pistils.

Update photos on the 88G13HP on day 31 flowering... terpenes right now smell like general 90's weed, kind of danky/skunky but nothing really exotic or exclusive at this time.

Looks like the same pheno as one of mine, a big one that turned slightly purple. I believe it to lean towards the g13 side. It never developed the huge dense colas I've usually gotten from the strain, and showed inconsistent mold resistance, especially compared to the HP leaners that had excellent mold resistance. However the smoke turned out great, a throwback to the best stuff from the '90s. Not fruity or terpy except for some hashy incense skunkiness but a full bodied type fulfilling smoke. Nice relaxing mind-numbing effects with no anxiety. I brought a jar full of hashplants and exotic stuff to enjoy with an old-time grower friend. He said the 88g13hp was the best of what I brought. That said I prefer the HP leaners.

Is anyone familiar with hp x nl1? New or old. Is it known for certain traits?

Awesome, lucky to have those seeds. Hopefully they still sprout up strong. I was just looking at someone's hp x nl1 on instagram a couple days ago, now I can't find it. It looked fantastic. As far as traits, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Stocky, bushy hashplant with loads of resin. Hashplant already is 1/4 northern lights so it's further nailing down the already great traits it has. I'd think it would flower very quickly, around 50 days. Back in the day people would always harvest NL and HP too early, because they were greedy. at 6 or 7 weeks. But it is one of those strains, when it's done it's done. And you'll know when it's done, if you wait for it to finish the rewards are strong.

I've noticed Todd McCormick has a seed company, Authentic Genetics or AGSeedCo.com. His catalog is stuff from the 80s and 90s. HPs, Northern Lights #5, #2, Haze, something called 'Purest Indica'. He says it's from 'Seattle Greg' the guy that brought the original northern lights to Amsterdam. He says all the stuff is authentic. The pictures he posts look like the real deal. Wonder if anyone's tried any of it.
