Hashplants in BC

From what I've read around the forums here, reefer an either created or has worked with 90% of the clone strains that have floated through the various baby factories I used over the last 15 years... Not surprising in the least he would have the old HP pretty locked down. As I mentioned earlier I think the pink kush we have here is his HP x purple king kush.

Only been the last few years seems we're getting some bcbd gear too, rock star, cookies and mkultra we got are all bcbd fakes IMO...

Def the no smell was a huge desirable trait in prohibition era, but those lines have some really nice nose plants mixed in too! Took on the smell from the king kush well, but I feel like the little inside stuff is fluffier or needs more direct light than either parent so I'm hoping I can work that out......

Glad to hear your sticking around a bit lotus land, I. Just joined the online world and already I've learned a ton! Going to be a great year, I can feel it!
Speaking of smell its amusing reading through the roadkill thread and seeing people argue over its existence or people who weren't there deny the smell. Sorry kids Roadkill made the strongest chems smell like a spring day.It put people in Jail for real. Your neighborhood hated you thieves loved you and there's no way she would of ever existed in the cellphone/Internet world now. NL5 Hashplant and bubblegum were absolute godsends and everyone I knew couldn't turf her fast enough.

to the OP , BC Dankness......
we share the same quest you and I hehehe but different.....
I just joined this site and am a bit overwhelmed as it's the first cannabis forum I've signed up on.

I used to have a biker cut hashplant that I grew for 7 years in tynehead/surrey. It came to me via a friend who ran crews that trimmed for some massive grows in Langley and white rock. My plant was not a big yielder, it was kinda spidery, liked low to moderate nutes. It grew with red streaks in the main stem and fully red petioles. The leaves where short and wide, very waxy looking. It did not clone well but well enough to keep her going.
she was a bit of a pain in the ass and I was told that most of the big shows were dropping it because of the deterioration of the yield. everything about the plant made me want to toss it and move on..... until I cured it up and smoked it...... every single person I lit that stuff up with asked me "where the fug did you get this". Dark golden rock hard nugs exploding with sweet, harsh acrid hashy aroma.... and the flavour just ridiculously hash.
2 toke weed for sure.
sadly, I lost this strain years ago after a work injury put me in the hospital and major recovery. No one I knew at the time could keep my 17 strains alive.
I'm going to try a strain called Barbara bud ...... and I've been reading a little bit about the med man rock star kush. according to the depot of hemp out there in Ontario who lists the medman rock star, it's origins lay partly with a maple ridge biker cut....... I'm intrigued.

I crossed that hash plant I had with an exceptionally resinous, heavy yielding, christmas tree phenotype, 45 day flowering male shiskaberry from the original spice of life/breeder steve. that male was selected from 50 seeds from the shiskaberry F1 batch. This was about 1998 if I remember right.
the offspring were fascinating. we only put 10 seeds down of the cross and from them a simply astounding female was kept. All that hash flavour from the hash plant, blended in with a creamy fruity and sharp flavour. Inhaling on a non lit joint just blew the senses.

I had high hopes of continuing my work with blending those two strains but was interrupted by my work injury. Now, I'm sitting here in the same dilemma as the OP.

I am on a quest to find that old biker cut low yielder LOL so if any of you BC brothers know of the one I speak of....... maybe we can do some trades down the road hehehehe
cheers fellas

I think I know the variant of HP you mean, as I saw it around 2000, it is the one I keep saying sounds like Tahoe OG. It was called a hash plant but lacked the dominant top of the classic lime green big HP like lotus land has, it grew tons of thinner branches, had more of spear shaped or pine one shaped buds and only grew 3-5 blade leaves, darker green with a bit of red streaking.

Yeah serious power high, and great low leaf ratio in flowers, very earthy hashy flavour.i lost it that year and never saw it again. The champagne grew very similar I thought but was weak in growth and high by comparison.... Last saw that in '06....

yes, your description sounds spot on. pine cone buds and that 3 bladed leaf trait. I had a mom that was alive for 6 years.... she never grew a leaf bigger than 5 blades.
if anyone ever stumbles across such a hashplant....... please , I beg you, let me know hehehhe

I could be wrong , but I think the maple ridge cut you were talking about is an og . Can't go wrong using the og as a mom to chuck pollen on .

One of my buddies came back from Langley today, said his friend has a old hash plant that he's going to grab me some cuts off! Stoked! Not sure what one it is but he thought it might be the big lime green bubble calyx one! I'm going to start hunting out some of these from the old guys. They still have some kills I'm sure!

I had the tuna for a bit, and I think bcbd rock star.... Neither held a candle to the HP your talkin about... The pink kush is the strongest clone I tried that's going around. I got an OG that was strong like the old HP given too me as "master kush" did have the same stems and crazy strength but kush smell, they were 2 weeks in flower when I got them so never cloned...damn

Old cut of the blueberry hashplant, smells and tastes pure blueberry.
After 6 weeks blueberry smell and taste fades and male flowers pop up everywhere. This one is 7 weeks.

I found this super potent, ridiculously frosty, dank mango funk hash plant in a few packs of Ustad seeds Shiskaberry 3 f2. It's not a big yielder and is a pretty leafy plant outdoors but when they frost up like this..... and making water hash is yer thing..... I'll take the leaf with a grin ;) the bud under all that leaf is very dense. She's getting chopped tonight :pimp3:
grown at 52N , 3000ft elevation, simple greenhouse with heaters going for last month.

^ wow, that takes me wayyy back ! The TW x M42 Pakistani was still to this day the best outdoor plant I've grown/seen, but alas she's history. the Q was also called Quarry Bud, as was from Quarry Bay on Nelson Island, BC ;)

Hey bigbag, those sound like great beans! Can I find those seeds at a seedbank,or are they personal ? How is the pre 2000 hashplant ? Have you grown these before or is this your first go of these seeds?
