Has there been a good scientific study?

Well plantsvs humans are entirely different first of all.
From what I hear, taking clones from a blooming plant, or revegging can cause a lot of stress, and takes a long time. I would bet that it does have a high chance of herming on the second flower.
I think this goes better, because it just lengthens the days, until the plant doesn't feel the urge to reproduce.
The problem with light leaks is that it confuses them, so they self seed, thinking the growing season is f#cked up, and does what it feels is necessary to continue its lineage.
Remember, Landrace strains, from which all our fancy ones are bred, have the ability to self pollinate, and randomly produce flowers through their life cycle.
It is genetics, devin. But we don't know which part of the genetics. So why and how and if it causes hermies, low yield, etc. can only be discerned by negation- find out what WON'T cause problems.
Its not a nature vs nurture. It never is. Its nature + nurture
