I stopped reading in the second paragraph after "Cannabis is the most controversial drug worldwide in terms of safety"

Well they did it with corn and soybeans, they turned food into poison.

Monsanto does the work of the devil.

I don't think it has been done to cannabis. It's harder for them to taint indoor crops, and cannabis is more or les grown to be seedless so great care is taken to prevent pollination.

There has been cases that have went as high as the supreme court involving farmers fields that have been cross pollinated by neighboring Monsanto GMO fields. The courts have always sided with Monsanto.

I didn't read the article because it reeks of propaganda.

Come to think of it, I think it is World Of Seeds that has a claim they claim has been genetically modified.

Amazing what passes as "journalism". First they say: "Using cannabis, you are courting a twofold increase in the risk for later developing schizophrenia - one of the most serious psychiatric disorders."

Then they say: "...CBD may even, ironically enough, turn out to be used in a modified form as an anti-psychotic treatment in the future."

So first cannabis makes you crazy and then it cures you. Amazing stuff!

What is upsetting about this is the fact that an educated Doctor who obviously knows the facts stands behind and feeds from the trough of the NHS and Big Pharma. Is there any professions left who have any credence of respectability. Yeah..Valium is safe though...beggars belief.

personally i wouldn't like my weed or anything else gm'd. Sure this article has bias but also points out the cbd ,cbn importance and makes the point surely that cannabis should be fully legalised so the customer can be fully aware of what the true genetics of dope smoked??

I've been known to mechanically modify cannabis by separating tricomes from the underlying tissue to render it more dangerous...

Works great.

about the only way you're gonna make cannabis dangerous at all is by dropping a bag of it as you cross a busy street and then trying to retrieve it against the light; or dip your stash in diesel fuel before smoking it.
:dunno:

btw the thread title implies that cannabis is somehow dangerous to begin with just by using the word 'more'.

The only way to die from Cannabis, is to be beaten to death with a kilo of hash.
Or maybe strangled with a Hempen rope??

my guess is the drug companies are close to synthesizing cbd in a pill form. this is simply pre marketing.
