Has anyone used the Magic Flight Launch Box AND Dynavaps?

As the title says, I'm wondering if anyone has used BOTH the Magic Flight brand "Launch Box" portable vape and Dynavaps?

I own a few Dynavaps along with an induction heater and I don't like them. They've been in storage for a long time. In reality, the Dynavaps are like a hybrid between a vape and a one hitter because even with an induction heater vs. a flame, the outermost weed in the tip of the Dynavap ends up nearly combusting.

I do not own a "Launch Box", but I'm intrigued by it. From what I've read though, like the Dynavap, there's a "learning curve" and that it's fairly easy to combust, which is not what I want. I have a desktop vape (Silver Surfer Vape made in Colorado which I love) and that never comes close to combusting for me.

Bottom line. I'm wondering if in usage, the Launch Box is similar to a Dynavap being prone to roasting dark or being prone to combustion.

Hmmm I have not used a mfb but I understand it is fairly easy to combust with them, probably we easier than a dynavap

I have used both and don't like either. The magic flight doesn't really have good contact with the flower so hard to get it to vaporize. If you powdered it you'd end up inhaling the weed powder. I think the Dynavap is better, faster, but agree that the flavor is not great with a torch. I wonder how much better it would be with the induction heater, but not curious enough to spend another 100 bucks on it.

Desktop models seem to have best flavor out of the cheap vape options in my experience. The pricier flower vapes like The Mighty probably do a better job.

I have both and I like the dynvap way better. I agree with Nay Hay. Another problem with mfb is as the battery discharges the heating time has to be extended in order to get some vapor, which then may lead to combustion again. But more frustrating is trying to heat it up and don't get enough vapor out because battery is dead again. Always have to carry around lots of stripped extra batteries when taking it outside.
I have not used the box in years, and I prefer the harsher hit from the dynavap.

I am another who owned both and didn't like either one. Too much of a pain in the ass just to get a hit. I have over 100 vaporizers and I consistently use the same 4 or 5.

For a battery op portable I use my Pax3, Boundless CFX, Flowermate Slick and sometimes my Arizer ArGo. For a desktop I like my Epic Log.

As far as I am concerned, the most important aspect of a vape is how it draws. Either by 'mouth pull' or 'lung pull'. I insist on mouth pull since it is closest to smoking a joint. Not many vapes offer a mouth pull. That was what drew me to the DynaVap. I have a dozen of them and 3 or 4 induction heaters. I seldom use them. Just too much hassle.

Other than my Dynavaps that I don't use anymore and my desktop that is my preferred, I used to have a DaVinci IQ2 that broke and they don't make parts for it anymore even though it's only a few years old. So...I'm in the market for a new portable vape for the times that I can't use my desktop. I don't much like the idea of "medical grade plastic" like an S&B, so my search continues for a decent dry herb portable vape with either a glass or ceramic pathway.

I have a Flight Box. I think it sucks ass. I have some SSV's and those rock. I don't use the hose though. I do direct draw with the wand only. I hold the SSV like a lighter and use the hot air to vape the buds in the wand.

That's an interesting way to use the SSV that never occurred to me. I'm the opposite. I bought some food grade silicone hose and have about 3 feet of it from the wand to the mouthpiece. It makes it very mild. My SSV is one of my most prized possessions and the company that makes them have awesome customer service.

I think I get stronger hits without the tubing. And my hit starts with vapor instead of plain air first. It's probably a little healthier with the tubing though. They have a store in Colorado Springs too. If you're ever in Colorado Springs make sure to check out the Skirted Heifer also. Some good burgers and fries.

I go the other way and pipe my ssv vape through a little glass orb bong/water tool. It's a bit of a handful but super smooth

I have used a few of the 10$ induction heaters. They get nails glowing red. They say 120w but mine have been about 80-90w. No more than 8 amps, from a 12v supply. Not vaped with one, but can see it would heat a metal crucible. The bi-metal from a self resetting thermal fuse might be useful to.

I lived in Manitou (Springs) for a bit less than a year but haven't been back to Colorado since 1991. I'm guessing it's changed and grown since then.
