Has anyone grown out Nirvana's Short Rider?

I was gutted but like I said, I'm blaming myself for mine turning NOT Nirvana..

For ease of growing, how the plant looks and how it smells I will so far give it 8/10 (Subject to change after smoke report LOL)

out of 10 females seeds. i had to kill 5 because they got too big for my vegetable garden(they also never showed signs of sexing after 2 months). the other 5 i had to LST them. had them in pots so i was able to move them away from my home. i planted them in the soil and still killed 4 out of 5 because they ended up being males. what a pathetic ratio even if they were mistakenly regular seeds. with my luck the 5 others i killed were probably all female. this was the last remaining two. the one to the left of the picture is now dead because it was a male.

i was given a fem quicksilver auto bean from attitude with my last order, 6-8 weeks it flowers, im really impressed with this plant, its bud structure is amazing and the plant is so strong, i went out of my way to neglect it and transplanted it 4 times , the last one being into coco were i stripped the soil from the roots and neglected to bury all the roots, i jjust left a few on the top of the container and it took off!!! but atleast it was what it says it was, a non auto dwarf, theres so many bud sites, there isnt a brown hair(pistel) on it and its already slightly top heavey, id recommend theese to anybody who wants a 4 month turn around high yeilding non dwarf auto.

Did You Do A Test Grow. Did You Find Out These Are True AFs? Also Where Can I Find Some Good Info On Them?
I Forgot (Now Don't Laugh) Are These Feminized?

Are you talking about Short Rider or Bluestreak? If your asking about Short Rider no they are not AF's and you can get them in either fem or standard your choice (check seedboutique, you should see both). If you are asking about Bluestreak (I have personally grown them, and I'm sure you will love them as much as I did. It is a great strain), yes they are true AF's and no I don't think they come femed, this is becuase AF's are tough to fem and I wouldn't trust any that are.

My biggest will be ready between now and saturday (Im keepin an eye on it) Will make it about 7 weeks of flowering...

My smaller one seems to be about a week or 2 behind (She'll love having the 400w HPS to herself though I'm sure)

Thats great any help keeping the costs in check here is welcome.

I have done 10-12 runs of BS at least so far. For any info you'll just have to looked through MD's vendor area some good threads and some unfinished as I have had to move around a lot in the last couple years.

I am just starting a 20 Blue Streak seed run now just a week into it and I got 100% germ rates with that last of them just breaking the surface of the soil lastnight or this morning.

No they are not femmed.

It is a great strain), yes they are true AF's and no I don't think they come femed, this is becuase AF's are tough to fem and I wouldn't trust any that are.

Thats right they do not come femmed at this time but it may change in the future.

I know someone here in the AF forum that has done extensive fem reseach with great results but I do not know of his plans. He pretty much has gone over the process with me in detail but I just do not like to mess with chemicals so I haven't bothered to try it.

If he wants to chime here cool and if not oh well.

I got 5 femmed (yea, sure) short ryders going on and so far two of them have hermied. I have never had hermies before and I doubt it's my own fault. I have LST'd them, trying to be careful, but that may contribute to it...

It goes without saying but I sure won't buy a shit from Nirvana again. Should have thrown some $$ more and get diesel ryders. Oh well, let's see how they smoke first but my expectations are already low.

Anyone tested how it smokes yet?

Ok, I'v now Harvested my biggest - 14 weeks in total (7 weeks Veg - 7 weeks flowering)
2 and 1/2 O's !! Not bad ay ?
The first bit I harvested is now dry and in jars curing - the rest has just been put into paper bags after being hung up for 48 hours...

so.... Uncured Smoke report (of my biggest SR)-
Taste 5/10 (not harsh - but a bit earthy)
Smell 8/10 fruity, citrus
Effects 5/10 Daytime smoke (Wake n bake)

Its much better than some of the stuff Iv paid top doller for though!

My smaller SR Still has until monday (maybe longer) to finish off, She had 2 1/2 weeks Veg, monday will be her 8th week of flowering - She's a completely different pheno though - She's got alot more crystals and the leaves are slightly fatter... and she is ALOT more sensitive - most of the fan leaves have rusty dots all over them - Either Calcium def or Mg def - I think its a PH problem - but I'm so far into flowering and so close to harvest that I'm not overly bothered about it now (if I was 2 weeks into flowering, I would of worried alot more) LOL -

I will give an update to this smoke report once its had a weeks curing - and I will give another smoke report on my smaller SR as I think the smaller one maybe a better smoke!
