I've tried and bought several different vapes on the market. The bc vape, pure vaporizer(junk broke in three months), hot box vaporizer, vapir, vapor cannon, volcano, and the vapor genie..
Best overall for price and value were the box styles with ceramic heaters. You can get mean knockout sized hauls of pure, clean, crisp, fresh, tasty, vapor. I reccomend the vapor cannon from www.vaporwarez.com it's what I'm currently using and it has a five year warranty I think.. My only complaint is you have to tip the box down to avoid the herb touching the elment, every hit. The hotbox has a nice whip design to avoid this trouble, but dont come with a ceremic heater or 5 year warranty.
The volcano is alright but not worth the extra money. I find the bag doesn't produce as fresh of hits and you can't take mass gaggers as with the box styles.
Any of the vapir vapes are not worth the trouble they are pieces of garbage.. The one I tried was stupidly high tech and barely worked and sounded like a hair dryer.
The dome styles are alright and work but I'd just save up for the box.
The vape that surprised me the most and has very high value for money would be the vapor genie.. Excellent portable vapor pipe, may not be for the newbie or someone unfamiliar with vapes. Some people take forever to grasp the technique of pulling a fat juicy haul(Kind of like welding). But for me I caught on first haul, and have loved it since. Although there is a very slight butane taste you ignore on conventional pipes but the vapor connesiur can notice. Wind is also a factor..But for portability and price you can't beat it. I get as big of hauls of it as I do with the box.
Vaporizing is great and I love it, so do alot of people I know.. But it's a different concept, alot healthier, very tasty, very economical. It can be a pain though, bud has to be chopped very fine like dust for best effect and should be stirred every few hits and also the warm up time for most is a bitch, all in all I enjoy it just as much as puffing a dub!
