Harlequin and her crosses

Haven't seen freedom bay seen harlequin jo by ggg (harlequin x Joseph OG)

On the site says

"
The Harlequin cut has been circulating the medical cannabis scene for quite a while now. One of the first strains that produced high concentrations of CBD aka Cannabidiol, a cannabinoid produced in cannabis that has been found to treat numerous medicinal conditions ranging from inflammation to nausea to inhibition of cancer cell growth. The Harlequin will put your body in a perfectly medicated state while keeping the mind free of the usual psychoactive effects of cannabis.

The Harlequin produces sweet buds with high resin production and a thick hash flavor. It is definitely a pleasure to smoke and a non-psychoactive effect that can still be felt as the aches and pains melt away.

We wanted to create a hybrid that could offer the medicinal grower the opportunity to experiment and select from interesting phenotypes that may carry the high CBD trait in it. We hope to reintroduce CBD genetics back into the cannabis gene pool through our efforts. While each phenotype will contain genes from the Harlequin, expression of the high CBD trait is not guaranteed.

The Harlequin Jo will produce rock hard buds covered in golden powder. The smells of spices and sweet currant may be experienced in the Harlequin Jo.

Genetic Facts

Sativa/Indica Hybrid
8 - 9 Weeks
Medium to High Yields.
Strong medicinal qualities."

I couldn't find more information on the Harlequin line but from what I understand the cbd is around 8-10 in most cases, I'm probably wrong but based off what I could find, it seems to average around there.

This is my 1st time running harlequin (Harlequinband to be exact, harlequin x headband) the headband is supposed to help with yield but we shall see.

If the medicine works great for my patients then Fuck the yield right? :)

Happy growing fellow growers

russett mites aka broad mites

russett mites aka broad mites

What kind of scare?

this is not a spider mite, its a 10th of a mil, tiny, must have 100x zoom to see, stays dormant in seed and manifests looking like disease on new growth, devastated Denver. I really want to start these cause of the high cbd... but am scared to pop seeds from denver now.

it stays dormant in the seeds? there must be a way to treat your seeds and your other plants to prevent any outbreaks.

we sure are trying to beat them back, doing pretty well, most of my girls are lrg/strong enough to hold their own against pests and disease. 2 however are struggling and I am now treating the whole garden somewhat preemptively. what is it they say 'an once of prevention and so on'...
Not sure if there is a way to treat the seeds...

Been running this Harlequin cut for about a year. Strong plant, dense nugs, beautiful smell and taste. I'd describe the taste as chocolatey, with hints of honeysuckle. Delicious. One of my favorite plants.

Good luck with those. I doubt they're really bx4's though. To my knowledge BCBD has never worked something that long without releasing a prior version.

I wouldn't doubt if they just repro'd bodhis BX1..... Same goes for their Fire OG BX3... Hmm wonder what they started the project with on that one

That's exactly what I was thinking. They picked up a clone from harborside and Bodhi's bx1 then made some bx2's but called them bx4

No, I bet they're Harlequins just not as ''worked" as BCBD says they are.

Good luck hunting. I'm sure (and honestly hope you do) you'll still find something good in there.
