I had a call this morning from a good friend whom I am indebted to, bigtime. She lives in a wonderful community in NSW called the Blue Mountains. This area is being targeted by local police here and there's no MJ to be found in the area.
She has breast cancer and is very very sick and I decided to pull 2 of the Happy Brothers down today, trim them up and take them up to her in the morning. We'll discuss sensible ways of drying instead of her microwave hehe
I flushed the 1st 9 days ago, and the 2nd 7 days, so hopefully the taste will be ok.
thats truly a nice deed you have done to help out a friend in need! hope she kicks the cancer bro. im sure she will be greatly appreciative of your kind act. your plants are looking incredible! those are huge for the size containers!!! they look super healthy! any problems with them tipping over with the fan on them? -bluebuds
Hello good people. My apologies to you all, and to Karma, for lack of update =( I did take nice pics of dried nugs but I do not know what I did with them, and now all the Happy Bro bud is gone, all smoked, creating peace, love and joy in my little neck of the woods. My friend reported back that she loves the Happy Brother too OK, here's the best I can do right now, until reveg of my Happy Crop happens>>>>> - Each plant yielded around 1/4oz, one yielded over 1/2 and she was as yummy as any other I sampled, so she'll probably be the keeper, after I run them all once more to be sure - The Happy Bro pheno was the MOST fruity smelling plant I've ever grown, I smashed my nose into pulp 20 years ago, so my sense of smell isn't too good, MAYBE the smell is MANGO - The effect of Happy Bro bud was a nice mix of sat/indica, I found the bud pretty couch-locky but even though I didn't want to move, I was pretty clear-headed and uplifting, euphoric - I like to eat after smoking Happy Bud, the flavours are increased hehe - the flavor of the bud I cannot comment, to me most bud tastes the same, probably because I use Butane - the buds ranged in trich coverage, but one or 2 phenos were very heavy laden - overall I give Happy Brother BX1 a 9/10, it's a new favorite in my garden Thanks Karma for making these beans
I want to take a few cuts a bit earlier next run Karma, I'm topping a few cuts once and a few more twice and vegging a month. But still doing in the milk containers, maybe getting transferred to some air-pots i got ordered.
