Boy, don't you just feel the love here?

Just the fact that we can post this shit is the point, one that she never realises.

An American has always supported the military but not all supported what the military was ordered to do, another point she fails to realise.

The government is one thing, those serving in the military is another point she fails to realise.

It's one thing to sabatoge a government, another to sabatoge or even wish harm on the military men & women is quite another, oh hell, ya got the point. :pointlaug

I can't say i support the military. I care about most of the people in the military like I care about anyone else. A good percentage of them are people who felt cornered by life and it was the only opportunity to make something better. It breaks my heart to know that there's so many in iraq that were in that situation. I have a huge respect for the sacrifice that many have made in the military BUT I don't support the joint chiefs of staff. I don't support the commander and chief (yes even gwb is technically part of the military). I don't support that our defense dept is so much larger than our education dept or our humanitarian efforts. Most of all I don't support military actions in afghanistan afghanistan and the middle east. The military is a large reason why I support american growers whenever possible because its nontaxed income.

It's mostly bogus.

It's mostly bogus.

Folks, this story has been floating around since about 1999 and it's mostly bunk.

While I hate this traitorous bitch as much as the next, one should not blindly believe everything you read. By carefully crafting just enough truth in a story, you can get people to believe a lot of bullshit.

She's earned enough bad mojo with her actions that I would not want to be within a mile of her lest some rub off on me.

3H - the spin doctors worked overtime on damage control, don't believe the propoganda that it didn't happen, like those that vehemently deny the holocaust ever took place.

When I was there she mingled with and partied with the enemy brass. Her actions were treason in time of war-but VietNam was merely a police action, so no charges could formally be sought.

I know of 2 instances where her meddling cost us three squads of patrols.

I think half of both stories are bunk, but enough is left of them that can't be denied or pardoned - Fonda was a direct tool of sabatoge and openly hated our men in uniform and what they were doing, to the point of helping the enemy locate our supplies and forces.

The men were following orders from their commanders, they had nothing to do with the politics, nor did they want to do half the shit we were ordered to do. When we debriefed in San Francisco in the fall of '69 and finally headed home we were spat on and called baby killers by college girls rallied by that traitor. All we ever wanted was the GI Bill college funds, we never dreamed the shit that came off in the end - most of us never knew of most of the attrocities blamed on us - they were isolated unfortunate events. Most of our time was spent dodging snipers and booby traps, the politicians and generals were the ones involved, not us. And very few grunts were involved in the news reports, not all of us - it was a big fight.

There are those that still deny to this day that man ever walked on the moon - it was all a studio setup with cameras & props.

And sadly, according to the latest census data, 7 out of 10 falsly claim to be VietNam vets.

Lastly, the Hanoi Hilton propoganda was fabricated in part, exaggerated by those frustrated over her activity. I say in part, because I flew home with one of the GIs that she spit in the face, the man hung himself in his garage 3 days after he got back home, in full dress uniform with a tag on his chest asking "WHY???"

Thousands were involved in the conflict yet only hundreds were directly working with the published attrocities that fueled the anit-war protestors, and they were following orders by superiors or face the severe consequences of military justice.

If you have more than one inflamatory anit-war hate site that proves any of this false please post the links so that those of us that were there can be enlightened as to why Jane Fonda deserves to be recognised as a hero and us baby killers and murderers. I'm only aware of 3 sites that still spout denials and none of them are valid historians.

All the speculation and arguing in the world doesn't negate the fact the Fonda could not persuade politicians so she consorted with the enemy to harm our troops to lay down their gear and stop the war - the definition of treason. If her actions harmed one GI, she should be hung for it IMO.

I knew better than to post this thread, but I was so enraged that this bitch should be honored by those that strive to force their will on all of us - like the cannabis prohibition and smoking, and all the bullshit movements based on contrived propaganda rather than truth.

With that I'm done, and I'm out of here - leaving you to your beliefs formed on what you read from those that weren't even involved or even born at the time. Some day you may be able to prove that the holocaust, or Jane Fonda's VietNam involvment never happened, please stop by Arlington to show me the proof. Mountains of reports on the evils of cannabis exist too - as do molehills of denials. Who do you have faith in - those that were there, or the spin doctors shitting on your rights.

Saix - after you've served in the armed forces you will have earned the right to voice an educated opinion, until then you are part of the problem and owe allegiance to the men & women that have shed blood for you to be able to spout your biased nonsense.
