I'm assuming the guy who wants to keep the method to beat it secret is because if it became common knowledge of that method to beat a hair analysis drug test, sure as shit the testing companies would focus on a method to overcome that, negating its effectiveness.
You don't want to go in acting gay dude. That kind of thing tends to travel and you not only would be discriminated against subtlety by your employer, you would also spend years being hit by homosexuals who would think, "Oh goody, another one."
I also wonder about cutting everything too short so the testers can't do one and the employers "ability" to then ask for a blood test. I wouldn't freak about that though. Residues are supposed to stay in the hair much longer anyway. But a refusal on your part might be grounds to withdraw the employment offer.
