I'm only mixing one gallon at a time. If I mixed five, most of it would be sitting for days. I just bought these.

I am loving the Rezipe.

you have plenty. Keep it simple until you are dialed in with a couple of runs under your belt...then maybe try experimenting with other supplements.

switching nutes mid-stream...

switching nutes mid-stream...

did a small run with the 6/9 formula in coco coir. i liked the results.

i'm about 4 weeks into current grow using all canna nutes. it's expensive, right!? anyone got an opinion on switching to 6/9 GH midway through?

probably give 'em a good flush first, eh?

^ Should be good.

I would hit them with just water first, then add in the 6/9.

I think I worked out my nute cost to be about 5 bucks per plant, for a whole run. That includes the expensive ass bloombastic I use.

give it 24 hrs for the chlorine to evaporate out of it.

No need to do that. Plants actually need small amounts of chlorine. There is also chloramine in most tap water supplies, chloramine will not evaporate.
Either way, chlorine or chloramine, there is so little of it in tap water it is not going to hurt anything.
You cannot sterilize with tap water.

6 and 9 ratio up to the first third of 12/12, then 6 and 12 for 1 week, then just 9ml/gal bloom with no micro up until the last two weeks.

Bloombastic is used from the start of the 3rd week to the 7th or 8th depending on strain.

I really wish I could find the post again about this. It wasn't on this site. But it pertained to European NPK ratios vs USA ratios. I just happened to see it while researching nutrients.

Basically the statement said something about "Same great Product", just relabeled to conform to US laws on NPK ratios.

They said that NPK ratios in the US are calculated differently. I cannot remember how they explained it, but what they said was that in the USA nutrient companies have to state NPK values a certain way, and in Europe they are calculated slightly differently. I'd be willing to bet that it is the same exact product, even though the label would lead you to believe otherwise.

If I can find the info again I will post it. Or I might email GHE and ask them about this. Unless someone else wants to do it.

At any rate, from what I read it's just that in the US they make nutrient manufacturers give the values based on a slightly different "formula" than they do in Europe.

Yes this definitely seems to be the case especially considering what my plants look like now!!!! They are a week from harvest and i must say GHE 6/9 is a beauty!!! Works so well i love it. Although i do have to still add calcium via calcium nitrate or a teaspoon of dolomite lime for the cal def that pops up around week 3-4.

genetrics then nutrition, soil has more then coco or rockwool, very siimple. libby welcome to my ignore list

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA Oh wow what a fucking idiot. So if i mixed a 10 000ppm solution and poured it into coco THEN would it have more "nutrition" than soil???? I wanna toke and be a retard is more like it.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

been using GHE @ 6ml soft water micro, 9ml bloom.
Been using this ratio for nearly 5 years with no probs what so ever.

I love you mrbiggs :thank you:, 6/9 GHE is beautiful. If i had stayed with 3+3/10....... i dont even want think about it. Looking at the pics from my 3+3/10 grow is depressing to say the least. My current grow is glorious and your advice has alot to do with it.

THANK YOU! Thanks to h3ad of course for 6/9 in the first place. Brilliant formulae.

3+3/10 must die a horrible death tho. It is your ginger haired stepchild and must be driven through with a rusty blade.

TLDR: DO NOT USE GHE 3+3/10!!!! GHE 6/9 WORKS GREAT!!!

Damn what a read... :D

I feel I need to do it a couple of times.

Thanks a lot H3ad for the idea and thread. I am going to try this out next grow.

I am loving the 6/9.

I'm on my first coco grow using GH brown and orange 6/9 with the kool bloom powder and a superroots airpot. (I am going on vacation on July 1st, so I bought a teenager about 20" tall and put it right into flower.)

I love this. My ph up and down are gathering dust. I use 70% tap water and 30% R/O water. I mix in my nutes and the ph goes to about 5.9 It is too easy.

The day after I added the kool bloom my plant tipped over a bit. It just exploded.

After years of thinking a flood tray was the way to go I think I found my home with coco and the Rezipe.

How many people out there running Head supplement calmag? My tap water is soft (.2ec) but I'm wondering if I need calmag or not? Currently using it early in flower... might cut it out around week 4.

PLEASE HELP!

PLEASE HELP!

this is my first grow, Nirvana's Northern Light. About two weeks ago something went wrong and I seriously burned my girl. I'm feeding twice a day with 6/9, mixing my tap water with distilled water. Before accident I had run off at up to 750ppm with weekly flushes when run off got above 850. As you can see from the photo, I lost a great deal of leaves and I guess that significantly reduced grow rate. I noticed that a couple of new leaves are getting curly which I think is an indication that something is still wrong. I have no idea when things went south. What can I do to help my plant to recover? What I do wrong?
Please help, I'm desperate!

sounds like typical coco. the distilled waters ph is already a 6 if that, your gh nutes probally take her down to a 5 maybe even lower. your bascially pouring overly acidic salt on your plant twice a day and wondering why u have issues. go with tap water and lower your ppm's to 500 , thats my advice.

and weres my leech? common blank, u know u need my post first before u can write something . . . . ignore list going strong
