Yeah.....things seem to be 'Coming Up Roses'...as I gradually manage to settle myself back into the free world, after leading such a crude and excluded existence for nearly 1000 days.

I have regular video-chats with the wife and our children almost every day, and am managing to support them, and myself currently due to alot of help from my friends and well-wishers...you know who you are, once again MANY THANKS!

So many members have come forward with donations and various offers and ideas to help me thru these recent and current difficulties, that I can only feel grateful and happy from all of your contributions, and realize that many of you really do care about myself and ICMAG carrying on into the future, and that's a fine thing.

All I know is that the house better be clean by the time the woman comes home or in the Dog House you go.

Women are touchy like that. I'm single and I can already hear what a women would be yelling at me now.

"You been home for months and the place is a bigger mess than when we left."

Oh yeah...I will make sure the apartment is spick and span, before they show up. It will be the first time she will have seen my humble abode here in the UK. (if/when they get here)

Mind you she is a woman of much more humble origins, as she grew up in a Bario... in a house without windows or doors, and a very basic outside loo/shower. So I am sure that she doesn't have such 'Great Expectations' from myself..

After all, there is a world of differences between South-Eastern Bicol, and South-Western London... and she is bound to experience a fair bit of culture shock because it will be the first time she will have traveled outside of the Philippines in her life.

I know the legal system is crazy slow and everything has to be just right in the USA or UK.

Seems other countries give visa to everyone and all you have to do is hop the border every 90 days. I believe Thailand is one of those countries. There are places in South and Central America that are the same way. I would not do it in Mexico for a lot of reasons, but there are a lot of Asian countries that let just about anyone in on a tourist visa.

So in the UK, specifically England you have to have a JOB? Isn't ICmag a job? Seed selling is legal there right? And you already own a home.

If someone were to give you some financial statements from ICmag that say you make a sufficient amount that may be the key for England. I can't see you having a regular job unless you are running something. Probably jobs for someone like you in Seattle or Colorado, but then you are in reach of the DEA or whoever else is looking for you. Money laundering for selling weed is still a federal crime, even though selling weed is legal in a few states. The dispensaries and mj retail stores have to deal in cash. They make a lot so I don't know what they do with iit.

Yeah....you have to show that you have a regular income, whether that income comes from being employed by some entity, or self-employed (in my case)....or from some sort of pension or dividends...you have to show that you are receiving enough funds to feed and house your wife/kids, and will not be a financial burden on the state.

To show proof of your financial situation, you have to show 6 months of bank statements to prove that you are financial capable of supporting a family. So far I am 2 months in, and have 4 months to go before I can submit my financial records towards my wife's visa.

You also have to show that you can accommodate/house the family, and that's not a problem because I have my own 2 bedroom apartment, and the wife has to do an English language test and get some sort of immigration exit visa from her own government by attending some seminar and fulfilling their requirements also.

Yes, it will take time, and alot of sorting out and gathering the many pieces of paper needed before she can apply for the visa. Hopefully we can do that sometime around this coming October,, with the aim of getting them over here before Christmas....well, that's the plan.

Immigration for a foreign spouse to the UK from outside the EEC has got a whole lot more difficult over the last 2-3 years, since they instituted much stricter rules, and more difficult requirements, even if you have kids and are legally married.

Good to see you are home. Met you years ago, through Mila Jansen.

Jeeez....Mila?

Now you have got me to wondering how the old gal is. Is she still around with the pollinator company? Is she well?

I really should try and look her up, we have much to chat about, since I haven't seen her in years and we used to be good friends when I was living in the Dam and before that too. She's a real character and sage of all things canna related, among other things too, and definitely a person of interest for all canna enthusiasts ... I spent many years visiting her and her family, stayed many good times at the Hemp Hotel, and learned alot about cannabis products from Mila...and we did business from time to time too.

I've lost touch with so many old friends and acquaintances and bizz contacts over the last few years...more than likely due to being banged up on the other side of the planet, although a few people managed to stay in touch with me, which was nice because many of the other inmates never had anyone visit or contact them at all....so I felt lucky.
