GW claims to have special varieties. They got an odd strain from Africa, one with high THC-V. This is very unusual. They took this high THC-V strain, back crossed it until there was no THC, but all THC-V. Well that is something unique to GW, except that one of the Jack the Ripper phenos is testing at 6% THC-V... and folks are working to back cross it to be pure THC-V, just like what GW did.

I'm not nearly as worried about patents as I am the entire face of industry changing.

It seems that with this "legitimacy" brought to the MMJ movement herbal cannabis will (in the eyes of legislators and council members) be rendered more "dangerous" and suddenly unneccessary.

they aren't patenting plants as much as they patent animals, they patent a process and the result being an animal or a plant. Genetically modified versions of the originals, certain genes and traits are genetically altered and, technically, thats what they are patenting. This will intro into the world of the genetically modified cannabis strains. Already real unsure about eating GMO foods, but, smoking GMO marijuana, just seems like a horrible idea to me, there is no telling what kind of complications they'll create.

Everyone wanted legalization, but, everyone lives in dream land. This is the world of the corporation, fascism, without getting to deep, they have their hands in everything and, in turn, dictate all outcomes involving money. This is the reality, i will not consume corporate marijuana, synthetic compounds are one thing, genetically altered is an entirely different arena.
