The new strainhunters video is very interesting, Trinidad and St Vincent, a lot of real up to date information on the islands scene that will make you want to go to St Vincent :)

thanks for the reply!!

yeah thats a hell of a documemtary! im going to vincy at the end of the year so that will be gd, but like jamaica its a given that there will be no problem scoring. im not saying that i will have a problem in guyana and trini i just need some up to date info, im especially interested in whether there is charas/hash in guyana ?? is it liberal or what the risks of sparking a spliff/chalice up etc

respect for the reply !

yo,

been living in guyana now two years. ganja is plentiful and quite cheap. (maybe $25 - $50 a zip for some of the better high grade around; and almost anywhere in the country, literally, you should be able to buy a joint's worth for $1.50 US dollars). ask any rasta or nearly anyone and they'll usually point you in the right direction. social attitudes are quite accepting as a large percent of the population partake. law enforcement is minimal. you got to be crazy flagrant with it to get caught or have anyone care. and if you do get caught, you'll most likely be paying a bribe of some kind. (but do your best not to let that happen as that could be pricey and/or dicey).

never seen nor heard anyone talk about charas/hash - though, with prices what they are i'm sure you could make some if you were so inclined, and maybe if you know a grower it's there. you can find locally home-brewed ganja wine here though, which is somewhat unique and cool.

quality is not tops - though if you find the right person you can get some nice high grade and/or jamaican. it's always seeded and there is no indoor available.

all in all, guyana is a pretty nice place for ganja. pm me if you got more ?'s.

I been there every year since 96. Over the years the weed scene has changed a bit, you can get everything there now, I got green crack, blue dream, chem dog and more strains than I can type now. It's all imported from what I heard Cali indoor, cali outdoor and Canadian according to your connect. The only way to get these are from a good connect, what's available generally is "Jam" which is imported Jamaican weed this could be Regs or great shit according to the age shipment dealer ect, mostly brown sun dried( some fresh green ones too if your lucky ) and most times seeded. There is "Vincy" that's imported from st Vincent this is green sun dried seeded and not very good very leafy leaves you dry mouthed but you get the most for your money but its not good smoke dunno if over there it's better. Then they got the "Kush" which is a columbian cripi or krypto or sumptin it's strong, nicer on the bag appeal side and kinna fruity. But it don't burn right always going out like it wasn't flushed the bugs are pretty tight. No seeds in this one but overall there all regs in quality. The local weed scene over there got messed up in 96 with a eradication program called weed eater ( listen marlon Asher ganja farmer on you tube he's a big reggae singer from the island) before that crazy local strains kept the competition out I remember getting some Sata Masa Ghana gold and Ground Thunder from "Biche" Damn! Another I remember was some from Morouga killer stuff. Since 96 local ain't what it used to be, thee was a local hybrid called Gorilla Hill that was going around that needs to be mentioned this was some top class stuff that I hear is still around but you gotta go looking for it in the country areas. If I'm on the island while your there we can hook up no probs, don't go asking everyone though get a good connect!

I've been living in Trini for 6 months now and the price for good high grade is stupid expensive and unflushed. Put it this way... I can consistently get decent Cali outdoor OG or diesel and it costs $3200TT an ounce or $500US.
I am currently growing Raskal's White Master and Skunk indoors which is unheard of on this island. Just flipped em and should have medz by first week of Oct.
I am assuming you already took your vaca... How'd you like it down here if you did? -Keepz

Yes I'm the ganja planter...call me the ganja farmer.

Terrible that the governments in the Caribbean don't let the ganja grow...maybe in twenty years things will be different.

There is such a huge stigma attached to cannabis among the older generations here, especially among the older east indians that I don't see laws changing anytime soon. Plus, the economy depends so much on exports to the US that they would not want to piss off Unce Sam and go against the grain -Keepz

Sadly it's the East Indians who brought ganja culture to much of the Caribbean as it is used religiously in India. Even the word ganja is Indian. The culture is dying out in India too, and the reason it was banned there in the first place is because the government there wanted to keep receiving funds from the US govt.

Who would've thought there would be a huge American legalization movement thirty years down the line?

Hi ppl!
Yeah I found T&T harder to score in than most places I've been to
I was in Tobago and I didn't get offered or find the Arizona, got a massive handful of vincy $300tt from a young local I got talking to. It was nice but not treated ideally in transit I guess. Guyana was nice I was offered sour diesel but when I went to re meet the guy he wasn't there anymore which sucked. Got a few bags there tho from a taxi guy, stall keep in GT, and a couple more and fronto/grabba en route to berbice. near skeldon I got an oz of standard for about 1200$gy. So it was interesting and a very nice trip!!

I'm going to Jamaica next month and St Vincent via Barbados. ;-) gonna get some real vincy which makes me very happy!

Thanks for all your replies guys!!!
I'll try and have some pics by the end of next month
