Sorry for the late update.
Been busy and had a phone/camera crash also

Some shots of the outdoorgrow.
I didnt save the exact date but the pix are estimated 2 weeks old i guess
The plants where taken from the small pots in the minigrowhouse and put in soil about a month ago exept the TAS/GG3XDP which where put out a little more than a week later.

They have been wellfed with nutrients
At first my "emergency nutrientmix" later they have recieved mostly Canna Vega and rabbit manure

im8billede001xi1.jpg

also one of the earlier pix

An earlier pix showing a Royal Dane and an ErdPurt/ARxDP haven been attacked by slugs and one could say that they had a very early unplanned topping.

Yet another early pix showing a HKxLeb27

An early pix showing a Royal Dane

Most recent shots
These where taken today
first one is showing a TAS/GG3xDP male.
This cross is the only one as of yet showing sex, and only the males ( 3 out of 5 sofar)
The rest of the germinated plants from that cross is at a friends place ( pix from there comming later)

Shot at 2007-07-23

2 plants from the Ramone skunkmix
These are 53 centimeters atm

Shot at 2007-07-23

2 Royal Danes.
The tallest is also around 53 cm atm.
Not bad considering they have been outside less than a month and where only around 10 centimeters when they got into the soil.

Shot at 2007-07-23

The 2 plants which had a very early "topping" by slugs, have survived and is doing fine although very short

Shot at 2007-07-23

ErdPurt/ARxDP apr 45 cm

Shot at 2007-07-23

2 infront to the right is Ramone skunkmix ( doing alot better in my garden than in my neighborg's unfurtilized one- pix from his garden later)

Shot at 2007-07-23

The biggest TAS/GG3xDP male

Shot at 2007-07-23

2 HKxLeb27 plants
At first this cross was the fastest growing and tallest but they have been surpassed minimal by Ramone skunkmix and RD but they are still the most wide and branchy ones.
Im looking very much forward to smoking these
mixing a heavy indica with an early Danish sativa dominated landrace is surely something exciting and ive heard others speak highly of this weed.
One in front is somewhat pale green
i think its some kinda nutrient/mineral OD or insufficiency but ive not been able to tell the exact reason and its the only one outside showing this?
Ideas on the cause of this is welcome

Shot at 2007-07-23

Ramone skunkmix in my neighbors garden.

Shot at 2007-07-23

They are smaller, stretchy and not even started sidebranching yet.
They got out a week later, recieve a little less direct sunlight, but im sure the main reason for being smaller is that he doesnt feed them nutrients.
He dislikes me keeping rabbits and therefore said no to offered rabbit manure and the result is obvious...
FEED YOUR PLANTS PROPERLY OR THEY WILL END UP STARVING YOU AT HARVEST!

Pride of my life, my son, is spreading joy with a bucket full of nutrients.
today i started using both Canna Vega, Canna Flores and rabbit manure as many of the plants are starting to go into flower fase.
In just 3 days the tallest of the plants raised from 53 centimeters to 68 centimeters

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

Proudly looking out over the garden from the last row by the fence
Royal Danes.
Tallest ones are 63 centimeters now

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

Another one of the royal prides of Danish gardens are watching over the other plants from last row by the fence.

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

Tallest and biggest in the garden sofar.
Ramone skunkmix with its nice fat indica leaves and bushy appearance.
Tallest one are 68 centimeters, 5 centimeters a day from last pictures.
If you look carefully you can se that the leaves are curling just a bit ( in honour of the camera ive straightened some of them out a little).
No yellowing or burned spots but ive been pushing the nutrient limit with these babes.
but no pain, no gain.
I hope the Trich production can measure up with the growth then im in for a hell of a smoke at harvest.
I gave my neighbor some plants of the same strain and they are looking like sorry excuses for cannabis in his unfurtilized garden.

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

HKxLeb27
Very similar to the Ramone skunkmix.
Very bushy with indica leaves and good groth rate.
Not as tall now as the Ramone's but also very bushy and wide
Its hidding its sativa ancestor well

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

TAS/GGxDP male
The only ones still showing sex ( not very tall or big )
picture is a little blurry so the balls are not showing very clearly.
im still in doubt wether to make seeds seperatly for each cross or to let the earliest cross pollinate them all for even earlier strain next year.
Since no pistils are showing yet i still have time to decide but im sure i dont have many days as all the strains are suppose to be early.

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

ErdPurt/AxDP
Clearly indica dominated but more neutral looking than the Ramone's and HKxLeb27
More looking like the Royal Danes but not as tall and a little more bushy.
As ive heard so much about the ErdPurt crosses i also look forward to how it smokes.
I have other ErdPurt crosses but recieved them to late for soil so i have to wait for those till next season.

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

Front row by the bucket you see the Ramone skunkmix.
They have been a pleasent surprice sofar.
Big fat plants with huuge indica leaves.
Cant wait till i see how they smoke

Shot with Photosmart M425 at 2007-07-26

Almost 60 centimeters in about 30 days outside and about 5 centimeters a day for the past 3 days in mostly clouded weather.
Im sure the Canna nutrients and rabbit manure had something to say and of course some good genetics passed on to me by skilled growers.

so fine bro, good to see the family is helping on the caring!

Tnx for the kind words and your opinion.
the pic of my son watering the plants has been "censured away" on 2 danish cannabis forums for "involving my young family in crime" :(

i dont see watering a plant is a crime? :rasta:
Neither do i.
My son is very helpfull with just about anything the weekends his here for visits.
He helps with everything from feeding the rabbits, watering plants, cleaning rabbit cages and making compost, getting wood for the fireplace etc and his always asking what he can help with next.
When we are finished with the duties of the day we sometimes race around the neighborhood on a pocketbike.
Fahter and son, 2 boys that will always be boys
My daughter is still to young for outside activities but im sure she will help one day also, including "criminal activity" as to watering my plants etc :muahaha:
no one from the family consider them "criminals" just because ive chosen to grow a little weed in the garden

small update 1/8 07

the growspot as a whole
Tallest plants er now 87 centimeters
Only the TAS/GG3xDP males have shown sex but i think it can happen for the other strains anytime now.
billede000eg2.jpg

The tallest plants are still the Ramone skunk mix with its huge indica leaves
They have grown to 87 centimeters since last update.
Been holding back on the nutes since last time when my son watered them cause ive been balancing just around the limit, but i think its time for nutes again very soon.
billede001qw6.jpg

One of the TAS/GG3xDP males.
Catching up in height but very thin compared to the other strains.
The most "sativa looking" strain i have in my garden this year compared to the more neutral looking one like the RD's and the heavy indica look of the Ramones and the HKxLeb27.
billede002nf1.jpg

HKxLeb27
Very bushy plant
Looking a bit like the Ramones but not as stretchy and more dense and compact
billede003qs1.jpg

ErdPurt/ARxDP
billede004dw0.jpg

Eoyal Dane
billede005rw3.jpg

the tallest of the RD's
still a few centimeters behind the Ramones in height but i wonder which of them that yeilds most and delivers the best smoke?
billede006yc2.jpg

One thing is for sure.
Im more than satisfied with the growrate of the plants.
Especially when they have been in soil less than 5 weeks and only pre grown to about 10 centimeters before that.
But next year ill be in soil as early as possibel with some heavy pre grown plants and a grow with 10 diffrent strains atleast and covering more than 20 times the ground of my current small scale late grow.
my indoor lab should be parttime operational in the next few weeks and fully operational within a month time or so.
Ive purchased and swapped for many new strains including some nice pure sativas so next year will be a very exciting grow year for me, and the lab will provide me with new strains, crosses and pre grown tall plants to go in soil as early as its possibel.
Ill be ashamed if i dont manage to get some sativas pass the 10 feet barrier next year.

UPS
seems like i forgot to resize the pix.
too tired for that new but ill resize and replace the links within the next few days

Esbe and Paddi tnx for the kind words :)
Yes im also amazed on how much ive been able to get from them sofar considering how late i was out and the short time they actually have been growing outdoors.

Heres the promised update

A pic of the grow a few days ago

A shot from yesterday
tallest plants are now 133 cm

the 2 remaining TAS/GG3xDP females
removed 3 males yesterday
2 killed instantly and another isolated for pollen.
Height and growth has been a little disapointing as they are only about 60 cm and the isolated male is about 70 cm

HKxLeb27 getting more and more like a tight bush.
Cant wait until they start budding up
like most of the other strains they are slowly starting to show sex.
Males first but also small preflowering on the females.

Yet another HKxLeb showing promising signs of how shes gonna reward me later with a nice yield

Royal Dane in the middle and you can glimpse one to the left also.
To the right you can see an ARxDP

2 more tops of RD's

the growspot from yesterday

The pictures are the same strains planted at a freinds place.
They get neglected and only get nutrients when im around.
seems like his soil is to compact for fast growing cannabis ( contains lot of clay and even though i have put a better soil mix around the plants when i put them in, it seems its all been kinda wasted effort)

These pix are taken today at evening.
I apologize for the bad quality shots but my lousy phone cam doesnt like dark shots.
the plants has grown a lot in 24 hours and the tallest one is now 145 cm.
My son is proudly holding on to his fathers green tomato plants ;)
It should give a pretty good picture of the size

Small update

Tallest plants are now 207 cm after having been outside for about 8 weeks.
Average height is between 140-160 cm
For size comparison my oldest dog, a full grown rottweiler, is posing as model

Dont even think about getting near my plants without permission ;)

wow that´s a real comfort to have such a beautiful dog and kid, looks like you know how to treat animals too, not only plants.
They all look very healthy and strong.
Peace

time for another one of my small updates ;)

The grow spot started looking a little empty after removing all the males

Tallest plant is stil a Ramone.
Now its 226 cm and has started to form some nice little fresh smelling buds

Buds forming on the E-rocketx Danish PAssion

Some really nice buds starting to form on the Royal Danes

HKxLeb27 just started to form small buds due to late flowering.

TAS/GG3xDP has shown pistils but flowers are small and almost impossibel to see.
I have my doubts if they will finish and if they do i think yield will be very small

What to do with male plants?

Well some ppl ditch them.
Others compost them and some even use them for sports such as Cannabis Male Throwing :)

I feed them to my rabbits.
Call it recycling as whatever goes into the rabbits comes out as first grade fertilizer again ;)

My premium male rabbit buck having a canna snack.
Hes a 15 pounder Flemmish Giant.
also a giant producer of fertilizer and i owe him a big thank for my plants vigorous growth this year

Some young rabbits ive crossbred for meat is having a go at this new great tasting Canna feed.

More youngsters eating cannabis

My best Flemish giant doe, a 14 pounder female, took a chew and decided to investigate at distance what this new feed is

Her neighbor a Flemish giant 13 pounder doe decided for a more direct approach and chew the incoming balls right away

Old McDonald had a farm.
And on that farm he had some dogs, cats, rabbits and of course cannabis :)

Have fun until the next update...

tnx all..
If it wasnt for helpful, generous and kind DCF users i wouldnt have had any outdoor grow this season.
Thats why i do my best to try and give something back to the community and showing that i appreciate and care for the plants.
Also why im doing the indoor project this year that will give some interesting crosses for next outdoor season.

Had some problems with imageshack so trying a new pichost

The plants in all their glory

Ramone Skunkmix pheno#3
Green pheno with discrete smell and more singel cola structure compared to the other 2 phenos that are purple and very strong smelling ( pheno #1)
And pheno #2 that are partly purple and more smelly than #3 but less than #1
Both #1 and #2 are taller and more christmas tree like than #3

Ramone skunkmix #3 without Auto flash on

Ramone skunkmix #1 to the left and #2 to the right

Macroshot of the resin covered buds of Ramone skunkmix #3
Sorry for the blurry pic, still need to practice with the new cam in order to have no shakes at all when taking macro

Macroshot of the resin covered buds of Ramone skunkmix #1
Sorry for the blurry pic, still need to practice with the new cam in order to have no shakes at all when taking macro
eventhough its a bit blurry you should be able to see the resinheads in all its glory

TAS/GG3xDP
together with the HKxLeb27 these are the latest flowering but starting to bud up really nice for its size

One of the smaller E-RocketxDP
This strain has been a nice surprice
Nice yeild and resin production and its ready for harvest in a week or so i would guess

Same E-RocketxDP without flash
This is one of the smaller ones
The others are bigger but it rained like hell when i took the pix and didnt wanna drown my new camera so just took some fast shots

A little blurry macro from a bud of a E-rocketxDP
Cant wait until harvesting this one

Time for an outdoor update

Been harvesting a few due to either maturity or signs of mold.
mold has except for on the Ramones been mostly on plants that are under attack from slugs
Slug feecies seem to accelerate mold of the climate is very wet.

A Hindu Kush x Leb27 that a harvested top from a few days earlier due to mold caused from slug attacks

Ramone #1 ( the purple and the best smelling one)

Triplle Afghan Slam/Guerilla Gold 3 x Danish Passion
Been late and a little disapointing in growth, but nice resin production and sticky buds

A late and purple HKxLeb27 pheno. Not very tall but the only one in this cross that is showing purple on the leaves

Royal Danes
this Danish landrace is under normal conditions very early.
Has a nice resin production, smell and taste and is very mold resistant.
Its gonna be one of the backbones in my breeding program this winter where im gonna cross danish outdoor plants with some of the most potent indoor and exotic strains.
All this in order to have some potent outdoor crosses ready for next season.

Royal Dane bud

macro of a bud
sorry but forgot which strain or cross its from

Ramone skunkmix in my neighbors garden
Halft the height of mines and i think he will yield max 1/3
Dont forget to give your plants lotta love, attention, care, proper soild and nutrients

TAS/GG3xDP in a freinds garden.
Has soil is very compact and clayfilled and i digged holes 30 cm wide and 40 cm deep and put in peatmoss and expandet clay pellets, but plants did only reach a height of 80 cm max in his garden.
But regarding the lack of height is think they are gonna yield nice for their sizes because of their dence structure and tight buds.

Royal Dane in my friends garden.

E-rocketxDP from his garden

TAS/GG3xDP from his garden

E-rocketxDP also from his garden
