Here's some pics I took yesterday. It's only been a couple days since I took pics, but I can't resist. The plants are really starting to look good now. When I visit them every other day I swear I can see new growth on them. I took a couple close-up's of some buds with trichs on them already!! The fourth pic is my single phantom cookies that I have out. The last pic is a kosher kush that has that nice green sheen to it like the leaves were sprayed with a clear coat!!!!
Hey Frankenstein, here on the equator, with my new crop of swamp-tube plants only a few inches tall and just a couple of weeks old at present, I am drawing good inspiration from the time-lapse series of shots posted here by a fellow swamp farmer working skillfully a few thousand miles away.
Mold is a big concern in the humidity of swamp grow conditions, but I see no trace of any so far with your crop. You definitely picked a prime location - off the beaten path, and yet with free air circulation to keep the plants mold-free. Good progress so far, and I've bookmarked this thread.
Pics from yesterday. They are doing awesome!!!!! Had to put up some stakes to keep branches from snapping off due to the weight-and they still have a month or so to go!!!!! I have two plants that I don't have tags in the ground , so I don't know what they are. They have the biggest buds and the most crystal coverage of all my plants. Juyst by looking at them I would say they are the same strain. It could be pineapple express, but I don't think so because other pe's that are labeled don't have as many trich's or nugs that are as fat and round. I really think it's the dinachem I have. Which while we're on the subject, the dinachem is an excellent strain. Indoors it makes nice rock hard buds, covered in crystals. It has that chemmy funk to it, and it also has some fruitiness. I don't care who says what, dinafem did a good job on that one. With all the chem s1's and chem hybrids I grow, I can definetly tell they used a chemdog of some sort to make the beans. Anyway here's some pics. The close-up of the bud loaded with trich's is one of the plants in question.
More....... The first pic is my exodus cheese from greenhouse. It's a seed plant and is way behind the rest of the girls. It's barely starting to make flowers now. Has me nervous as to wither it will finish before the major frost hits.
and yet more....... The last pic is some kind of mold/fungus that some of the plants are getting on them. I posted pics in the infirmary. Gonna take a pump sprayer and some greencure next time I go see them.
Pics from today. They are really starting to blow up and pack on the frost now. Had a huge thunderstorm the other day. The water had risen so high it was actually flowing over the tops of some of my five gallon pails!!!!! I had to move a bunch of them to save them from drowning and/or tipping over and getting ruined. The rain was so hard and so much I ended up losing a bunch of branches and half of a nice size kosher kush. Friggin' mother nature always throwing curve balls when nobody's lookin'. I figure that I lost about a half pound of finished weight. Oh well though, it was partly my fault for not having all my bigger branches staked up. Lesson learned. The first pic is one of the three visitors I had this morning. She stood there and stomped her feet at me, while the two spike horns snaked into the dense brush. Anyway's ,on with the pics....
All the pics so far have been taken with a 14 megapixel Kodak camera. Cheap deal from walmart. Now these next few pics were taken with a Samsung smartphone that has only 5 megapixels.(no sim card in the phone and I had all the location markers set to off, even without the sim card in, lol.)Which look better?
