i have the new 40g one, it sometimes goes thru the opening slideshow, then when it hits the loading screen it just hangs there, then i have to reset it and go into the save game data and delete the "PRofile" data and turn it all off and back on again and it works... profile is the online data, i guess for some reason my friend says it gets hung up if your online server is not connected at the moment you turn it on or something silly like that. but thats how you fix it if you guys have problems. delete all the save data except one of the save games, and you should be ok... worked for me anyways, except now i have to do this everytime i wanna switch from online to story mode... kinda gay.. that better be in the first patch.. for a game that got a 10 of 10 from ign.. you would think it woundt have these problems.

Tick Tock Tick Tock...still waiting on my busted 360....I tried to rent one today seeing as i have two days off, and apart from the 400$ deposit needed all of the rental ones are in the shop/broken. I got to about 20% before i had to ship it away. Just curious what are your guy's addiction levels??? mine was "getting sketchy" before i sent it away lol

i think they spent too much time/resources on graphics and effects and not enough time on core game play and actual quality, it feels like a hollywood movie to me.

I was doing some reading about this game and how immersive and realistic their recreation of NYC is, I want to play it so bad! Sadly I have no xbox360 or ps3!!!

The gameplay is horrendous and glitchy & there are so many bugs its not even funny. I find myself falling asleep or getting aggravated by this game far more than any enjoyment. For all the hype and anticipation this game really missed the mark for me. Even the online play is terrible and boring. The gimmiks are even lousy, the pool is passable and bowling sucks.. A friend said to me "don't you think its cool you can smoke in the game?", I lit my own blunt and said "yeah". Then promptly shut the 360 down.

its not the best game i have ever played, however its very very good game, every game will always have people that like it and some that dont. fortunatly for rockstar, 99% of people are loving the game and thats going to make them a lot of money. i for one enjoy the wonton violence and story telling. and little jacob is freakin histerical and im starting to understand when he talks.
