Forgot the pics lol

Sweet looking set-up, Montana.

Sorry about the divorce, but that's really good news about keeping the house!

I'll be diving into the dosers in 2 weeks. Multi-feed coco using the new soil moisture sensor to trigger delivery. Have to figure out the tank maintenance systems for real soon (PH and Nutes.) Got 6 dosers, and I'm going to make it work with just 6. So I tell myself.

Note for new users, esp. those who do no use Windows (like me...)

Do not use Windows home edition for Growtronix.

It isn't a Growtronix thing, but rather a Windows thing. It will do 'automatic updates' and you can't shut that feature off in Home edition.

As server software, Growtronix needs your computer not to randomly reboot with new operating system updates. Home edition will always update and reboot.

mini split AC

mini split AC

Hi I still have somewhere in my ex computer the plans for a doser but to be honest I don’t need it, maybe for pH control. As far as my room they are hybrid. sealed with a passive Intake from my house, exhaust to the outside with zone dampers. Everything is controlled by the growtronix Software except my mini split AC.

Ps I’m going through a divorce and thanks to the Covid 19 I can keep the my house. Also my main language is spanish.

Does anyone know can Growtronix control a mini split AC????

If the mini split uses a standard thermostat you can use one of their low voltage relay modules, but if it uses a remote control there is not any support for that. I recently saw something that can push a button, with that you could probably set gt to control the wireless ones.

Ok, that button pushing idea is wild.

Just wanted to add that the folks at GT have been really helpful over email. If you asked them how to control your mini-split, I’ll wager they will also have good ideas to share. (I am not affiliated, BTW.)

I struggled with this same cooling issue for a bit, and decided to go with all water-cooled instead. I’m just hooking up an outdoor Rez with antifreeze and a copper heat exchanger (harvesting natural cold, which we have plenty) this week. It’s a cool booster, and also helps drop the Rez temp aggressively when we need to dehumidify. (Finger’s crossed.)

I’m moderately techie, and still wouldn’t dare try this method without GT. With it, should be relatively easy.

It’s cool kit.
