i wouldnt worry too much about the gnats - some diotomacious earth or neem oil will help. try and keep the soil as dry as possible especially at the top. couple of good threads here at IC about controlling them.

i hate those gnats too i got them real bad one grow the best thing i found is one of those no pest strips get one and in three days they should all be dead.... id take it out a week or so before harvest though.... eff the chemicals....

I have a NO Pest Strip but I thought you can't have one in a grow with constant air exchange?

Sup growMEDS i had a problem with mites few grows back mostly do to to high temps and humidity i have try-ed neem oil and florimite both work great but allot of work put hot shot no pest strips in both rooms have not seen a mites for the last do grows they will always be hanging in my rooms now.
to bad about the male balls i know it is discouraging some times but thats the nature of the beast looking good brotha keep up the good work peace

I did have some mites in my flower cab (storage for now) but not in my tent. Just a few gnats. Don't think I've seen more than 5 or so at a time. And I bottom water so tops are usually dry.

I actually haven't been trying to think about yield and just gettin stuff done. So I'll be happy if I just grow some quality meds.
Of course I'm hoping for as much as possible.
I have quite the tolerance.

I used them in my previous box grow (follow the link) that had a i think an 80 cfm fan and it actively killed or drove them all away and use them in my current grow for prevention and haven't had any problems its in the lower chamber of my 2 chamber grow box on a 150 cfm fan..... also found the sticky fly paper things work to drastically control them... neem oil also works wonders and leaves less concern for the chemicals

hey Meds nice tent,,

on the bugs....I used a product from the nursery containing Spinosad..great stuff..ya cant use it past 4-5 weeks of flowering but it works . do a search

now on the clone ?wtf which plant did you clone from??
..I didnt know you could stress a clone into a full male???

One guy had a bunch so I dont feel too bad only have one

yea kinda sucks about the male but kinda crazy I'm 100% fems from seeds but my one clone I get turns out to be cut from a male lol

I like the dr alot - but dont really have any other to compare
I really like that the GL has the flaps that go over the zipper.

If you're looking for a bigger yield, how about running a Scrog setup next go around? A 250watter performs really well in a scrog.

I have thought about doin a scrog. Only thing that turns me away is that it could be hard to get to all the plants. but possibly one big plant if I get the right strain eventually

I know I'll try it one time atleast in the future

LMAO thats too funny. i've thrown out about 50 cuts that i got confused, kept the ones i didn't want and tossed out the ones i did. ended up with a crop of not what i wanted. lol at least it wasn't a male though.
