Oh and this next grow I am using Grodan rockwool cubes for my media. I moved into an apartment so I need a media that is a bit more easier to manage, and not being able to potup outside is going to be an issue.
It's great you can grow without being there. I find it unsettling, and as it's not allowed here, I'm not using cameras.
Did you chop because it when you will be there? Calendar concerns? It does look like another week would of been profitable, but not if that means missing a grow.
@Ca++ yeah it is a bit unsettling just think a water leak and the house could flood, there are so many failure modes that I have tried to anticipate and code for. However it is the unknown failure that always gets you. My next grow isn't going to have a direct water hook up which will mitigate the flooded house failure mode All in all it is a reliable system. This iteration I have 1 grow 100 batches mixed, and hundreds of furtigation cycles without incident. Worst thing that failed was two lines poped off my woodpecker JR drip emitters, no big deal the plant doesn't get some water, and it is evident right away since there are moisture sensors in the media. I have a patent pending on my fertigation system and it is cheap and efficent. We are going to try it in rockwool as that is a media that is very touchy about moisture content of the media, and accuracy of the inputs fed to it.
