There's something about weed that will cut through some of the best friendships. I've started to learn this recently. Personally, the only people I would ever trust would be most of those here on icmag. "Yeah..we'll split it half"...never saw even a nug.
"Dude..we'll get together and grow"....pretty sure that one found my spot and hasn't said shit to me about it. When people say it's better to do it by yourself, they're 100% correct. Granted, I would definitely trust you guys on here..but for the most part, fuck friends & weed.

yeah thats fuct up, the secret is to come off like you have nothing to offer but friendship and then ull see who your real friends are....i try to test possibly friends for being loyal, if there ot loyal or dont have my back when i have theirs its a lost cause so i turn my cheek, b/c what will happen is they will come to you when they r in need but when u are in need they are only out for number 1....... recently iv had VERY similiar circumstances with "friends" iv had for years... been through alot with.. would have liked to have thought as brothers.. but when it comes to money.. or someones own habbits or addictions cant let try to rely on someone elses loyalty or honesty. dont front or give out anything u arent prepared to take as a loss. iv thrown out things to buddys just to test character at times. to me its worth it to know who real friends are. those who are true to you will prove themselves time and time again.

Yea this happens to a lot people growing. Especially at first before you fully realize the importance of keeping the grow in the DL.
It's just like if you had money or anything else. It draws in people who want to take advantage of a situation they've found.
You know how occasionally you hear shit like your dealer stopped selling weed or something. Then like a month later you get up with and he is still selling. Well disinformation such as that just seem to all be part of the game. So I advise you do the same. Start some rumors that you've quit or you got a new job and there is a drug test or whatever and just stick with that for awhile. People will mostly forget/assume you've stopped once you stop showing your grow off or talkin about it. If your selling have a front of course, like your get it from some guy up in the city or down in the country or whatever sounds most reasonable to your set of friends.
The real problem is that even if your not telling anyone anymore just interacting with those people who knew can tip them off. I mean merely having KB of high quality is enough to make anyone who knew wonder if your growing again. So you put yourself into a bad situation there and it will now always be riskier to grow in this area. The safest thing to do is probably move. Sucks, but if the environment is hostile and your growing it's a recipe for trouble. Once you get away from those people or that area it easy to distance yourself from being a grower. It's cool to have a grow buddy, but you have to really trust the guy and be sure he isn't going to change his mind and like try to blackmail you. Keep your 'special' circle of friends small though you may feel the need to talk about your accomplishments, it's just not worth it. Don't help other people grow who might get busted or might not be fully trustworthy because that shit can come right back to haunt you. Being too generous with weed even is enough to make people suspect. So have a whole line of BS about how your out and you gotta go see your man and this and that and always have that ready for people. If people ask if your growing who already knew you grew say something like you wish but you can't because of this reason or that reason. It's very common for someone to grow a couple times and then the situation gets too hot and things shut down, it just takes YOU to sell them the cover story.

I really didn't expect to sell any of it. But, times got tuff around here and peeps where crying at my door for some. And then when I told them the cost. they said they could get it cheaper somewhere else. Then why the fuck are you here? If I do do a favor I give a reasonable price. But, they still try to fuck me. It's like they think I need to sell it wholesale because I have so much. Well, the shits gonna stop. Anyone who comes here to hook up is going to find the well has dried up. I'm completely out, nadda, no more, sold it all.

I only grow outside so I'll just tell everyone there is no crop this year.
